The Embassy of Argentina in Islamabad is the diplomatic mission of Argentina to Pakistan. It is located at 20, Hill Rd, F-6-3, F-6, Islamabad, Islamabad. Argentina sent its first diplomat to Pakistan in January 1948. The two countries soon established full diplomatic relations and the Argentine embassy was opened in Karachi, the former capital, on 29 October 1951.The embassy provides consular services and facilitates bilateral relations through commerce and tourism. In addition, it promotes Argentine cultural events, arts, exhibitions and musical shows in Pakistan. There is also an Argentina Park in Islamabad's G-6 area. It was inaugurated as a public landmark commemorating the two countries' relations.The embassy is concurrently accredited as Argentina's mission to Afghanistan and Tajikistan. The present Argentine ambassador to Pakistan is Ivan Ivanissevich, appointed in April 2016.

The Marghzar Cricket Ground is a cricket ground in Islamabad, Pakistan located near the Saidpur village. The first recorded match on the ground was in the 1988/89 season. The ground has hosted more than forty first-class matches since 1993. It was selected as a venue to host a match in the 2016–17 Quaid-e-Azam Trophy.

The Embassy of Bahrain in Islamabad is the diplomatic mission of Bahrain to Pakistan. It is located at House No. 12, Street 2 in Sector F-6/3, Islamabad. Bahrain also has a consulate-general in Karachi.The current embassy building was inaugurated in 2006 by Salman, Crown Prince of Bahrain. The embassy promotes bilateral relations between Bahrain and Pakistan, and provides consular services for Bahraini citizens in the country. Its operating hours are between 8.30am and 3.30pm from Mondays to Thursdays, and 8.30am to 1.30pm on Fridays.The current Bahraini ambassador to Pakistan is Mohamed Ebrahim Mohamed Abdulqader.

Saidpur (Urdu: سیدپور) is a village and union council (UC-1) located in a ravine in Pakistan in the Margalla Hills, near the Daman-e-Koh overlook, in the Islamabad Capital Territory. It is a Mughal Era village that has a wide spectrum of religious and cultural heritage. It serves as a tourist spot for locals as well as foreigners.The village also has an animal market, which provides a source of income to its dwellers. Some shops sell locally made pottery items and handicrafts. A 2015 estimate puts the village's population at between 12,000 and 15,000.

Rama Temple, also known as Ram Kund Temple, is situated in Saidpur Village, Islamabad, Pakistan. The temple is dedicated to the Hindu God Rama, who Hindus believe lived in the area with his family during 14 years of their exile. The temple was built in the 16th century by Man Singh I.

The Islamabad Marriott Hotel bombing occurred on the night of 20 September 2008, when a dumper truck filled with explosives was detonated in front of the Marriott Hotel in the Pakistani capital Islamabad, killing at least 54 people, injuring at least 266 and leaving a 60 ft (20 m) wide, 20 ft (6 m) deep crater outside the hotel. The majority of the casualties were Pakistanis; at least five foreign nationals were also killed and fifteen others reported injured. The attack occurred only hours after President Asif Ali Zardari made his first speech to the Pakistani parliament. The Marriott was the most prestigious hotel in the capital, and was located near government buildings, diplomatic missions, embassies and high commissions.During the investigation, three suspected terrorists were arrested by the Pakistani police. They were suspected of having facilitated the suicide bomber. However later they were acquitted of all charges as no evidence was ever presented against them. A few months after the hotel's bombing the Government of Pakistan had re-constructed it, and the Islamabad Marriott reopened officially on 28 December 2008.

The PHA Foundation, (موَسسہ پی ایچ اے) short form for Pakistan Housing Authority Foundation, (Urdu: پاکستان موَسسہَ اختیاریہ برائے اقامت کاری) is a government body based in Islamabad, Pakistan, with offices in Lahore (31.454055°N 74.239937°E / 31.454055; 74.239937) and Karachi (24.924614°N 67.142528°E / 24.924614; 67.142528). The PHA Foundation controls and helps in building housing societies and communities in modern ways. It was established on May 18, 1999 to help improving housings. This organization is controlled by the Ministry of Housing and Works (Pakistan) of which MAULANA ABDUL WASAY is serving as federal minister.

The Public-Private Partnership Authority (P3A) is an organization established by the Government of Pakistan to leverage the expertise of the private sector to supplement the public sector service delivery. It was formed in 2017 after the approval of the Public-Private Partnership Authority Act, 2017, replacing the Infrastructure Project Development Facility (IPDF), which was a public limited company under the Ministry of Finance.The authority is responsible for creating a regulatory framework to attract the private sector to invest in various projects. Similarly, Public Private Partnership Acts have been made in all the four provinces of Pakistan.

Islamabad Wildlife Management Board (IWMB) is a Pakistani government body operating under the Ministry of Climate Change. It is mandated to protect, manage, and conserve the Margalla Hills National Park as its legal custodian.It was set up in 2015 under Section 4 of the Islamabad Wildlife (Protection, Preservation, Conservation and Management) Ordinance 1979. It was officially notified on 7 July 2015 by the Prime Minister of Pakistan.Rina Saeed Khan is the current chairperson of the board, having been appointed in 2021.

Islamabad Zoo (Urdu: اسلام آباد چڑیا گھر), previously Marghazar Zoo, was an 82-acre (33 ha) zoo in Islamabad Capital Territory. It was opened in 1978, and was under the administration of Capital Development Authority of Pakistan before its closure in December 2020 due to its mistreatment of animals.In May 2020, the Islamabad High Court ruled to transfer management of the park and its non-human species to the Islamabad Wildlife Management Board and transfer all animals to shelters, and the board took administrative control in June 2021. A renovation of the zoo as a conservation centre is being planned.

National Art Gallery in Islamabad, Pakistan is the country's first national art gallery. Built on a small hillock opposite the Majlis-e-Shoora (the Parliament of Pakistan) and the Aiwan-e-Sadr (the President's House). It opened to the public on Sunday, August 26, 2007. National Art Gallery, Pakistan is a part of the larger organization called Pakistan National Council of the Arts.In 2007, Director General of PNCA was Naeem Tahir.In 2017, Director General of Pakistan National Council of Arts (PNCA) was Jamal Shah.

From 24–27 November 2024, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) organized the final call protest, also referred to as do-or-die protest, led by Bushra Bibi and Ali Amin Gandapur. During the protest, supporters of Imran Khan clashed with police in Islamabad as their march to the capital was obstructed. At least six people, including four security personnel, were killed when a vehicle rammed into them on 26 November. Meanwhile, several were injured during crowd containment via tear gas and rubber bullets, while some journalists were attacked by Khan's supporters. Late at night, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi warned that security forces would retaliate with live ammunition if protesters fired at them. In response to the clashes, on 27 November, a violent crackdown by Pakistani security forces, led by Naqvi, resulted in casualties. The government denied using live rounds, asserting that the situation was under control after clearing the protest area. According to anonymous sources in local hospitals speaking to The Guardian, the families of the deceased speaking to Al Jazeera, government officials had confiscated records of dead and injured. The PTI described the incident as a "massacre," claiming that hundreds of its members were killed as police fired live ammunition during the final phase of the protest. Later, party sources stated that up to 20 of their workers had been killed, while the search for other victims was ongoing. Government ministers denied any fatalities among PTI protesters during the November 26 security forces raid in Islamabad, with interior minister Naqvi refuting these claims as "propaganda" and challenging the party to provide names of the deceased. Meanwhile, Islamabad's police chief reported five security personnel killed during the clashes and described significant damage caused by protesters. Al Jazeera confirmed the names of the deceased and contacted the family members of several of the killed PTI protesters. Public hospitals in the federal capital asserted that no bodies were brought in following the operation. However, documentary evidence contradicts these claims. On November 30, Geo TV Fact Check contacted over a dozen doctors, nurses, and hospital administrators, many of whom either denied the deaths or declined to comment, citing pressure from government authorities. According to the fact check, three individuals with gunshot wounds were brought to hospitals. One was admitted to PIMS Hospital on November 26 at 8:17 PM and pronounced dead at 8:30 PM. Another was pronounced dead at the Federal Government Poly Clinic Hospital at 5:12 PM the same day, while the third was pronounced dead at 5:00 PM. The security forces' crackdown began in the early hours of 27 November 2024. PTI shared a post on its official X account stating "In view of the government's brutality and the government's plan to turn the capital into a slaughterhouse for unarmed citizens, (we) announce the suspension of the peaceful protest for the time being."
