Old Orchard Beach High School (OOBHS), is a public high school located in Old Orchard Beach, Maine. It is the secondary school for Regional School Unit (RSU) 23, a school district which exclusively serves the town of Old Orchard Beach. It has an enrollment of about 200 students, making it the smallest high school in Southern Maine.

Old Orchard Beach is a resort town in York County, Maine, United States. The population was 8,960 at the 2020 census. It is part of the Portland−South Portland−Biddeford, Maine Metropolitan Statistical Area. Located on the inner side of Saco Bay on the Atlantic Ocean, the town is a popular seaside resort. The downtown contains many tourist-oriented businesses, including clam shacks and T-shirt shops. A wooden pier on the beach contains many other tourist businesses, including a variety of souvenir shops. The seven mile (11 km) long beach actually covers three different towns: (Scarborough, Old Orchard Beach, and Saco, north to south), and is lined with many beach residential properties, condominiums, motels and bed and breakfasts.

The Ocean Park Historic Buildings are a group of four religious community structures in the center of the Ocean Park area of Old Orchard Beach, Maine. Also known as Temple Square, they form the heart of the summer camp meeting established in 1881. The buildings include The Temple, one of the only octagonal church buildings in the state. The buildings were listed as a historic district on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

The Staples Inn, now the Old Orchard Beach Inn, is an historic travelers' accommodation at 8 Portland Avenue in Old Orchard Beach, Maine. Located in a building dating to the late 18th century, it is the oldest known property to have regularly had summer boarders, with a documented history of doing so dating to 1840. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1987.

The Temple is a historic octagon-shaped Baptist church building on Temple Avenue in the Ocean Park area of Old Orchard Beach, Maine. Built in 1881, it is the centerpiece of the summer camp meeting established in 1880 by Free Will Baptists led by Bates College President Oren Cheney. It is the only known octagonal religious structure currently in use in the state. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1975, and included in the Ocean Park Historic Buildings district in 1982.

Old Orchard Beach station is an Amtrak intercity train station in Old Orchard Beach, Maine. It features a covered platform, and is served by Amtrak's Downeaster service seasonally between May and October.The station is located next to the Pan Am Railways mainline, formerly the Western Route mainline of the Boston & Maine Railroad.

The Cummings' Guest House is a historic African-American summer boarding house at 110 Portland Avenue in Old Orchard Beach, Maine. Established in 1923, it was one of the only places in the community offering summer accommodations to African-Americans during the period of Jim Crow segregation. Prominent guests included Duke Ellington, Cab Calloway, Count Basie, and Lionel Hampton. The property, which reverted to completely private use by the Cummingses in 1993, was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2004.

Palace Playland is a seasonal amusement park located in Old Orchard Beach, Maine. It has operated on the same site since 1902.

WPEI (95.9 FM) is a WEEI Sports Radio Network station serving the Portland, Maine, area. The station is owned by Atlantic Coast Radio.

WCYY (94.3 FM) is a commercial radio station licensed to Biddeford, Maine, and serving the Portland metropolitan area. Its target audience are men between 18 and 44. The station airs an active/alternative rock radio format and is owned by Townsquare Media. It carries the syndicated morning show Toucher and Rich from WBZ-FM in Boston. WCYY studios are at One City Center in Portland. WCYY has an effective radiated power (ERP) of 11,500 watts. The transmitter is on Cascade Road in Saco, Maine. WCYY is simulcast on WPKQ (103.7 FM) in North Conway, New Hampshire, which transmits from Mount Washington and covers a large swath of northern New England.

Saco Bay is a small curved embayment of the Gulf of Maine on the Atlantic coast of Maine in the United States. Saco Bay is approximately 10 mi (16 km) wide, running from the Fletcher Neck (the Biddeford Pool peninsula) and the mouth of the Saco River in York County north to the Scarborough River and Prouts Neck in Scarborough, Cumberland County, Maine, approximately 13 mi (19 km) southwest of Portland. The shoreline of the bay makes the largest sand beach and salt marsh system in Maine and contains the longest unbroken stretch of beach in the state.
