Cocalico Creek

The Bucher's Mill Covered Bridge or Butcher's Mill Covered Bridge is a covered bridge that spans Cocalico Creek in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, United States. After the Landis Mill Covered Bridge, it is the second shortest covered bridge in the county. A county-owned and maintained bridge, its official designation is the Cocalico #2 Bridge. The bridge has a single span, wooden, double Burr arch trusses design with the addition of steel hanger rods. The deck is made from oak planks. It is painted red, the traditional color of Lancaster County covered bridges, on both the inside and outside. Both approaches to the bridge are painted in the traditional white color. The bridge's WGCB Number is 38-36-12. In 1980 it was added to the National Register of Historic Places as structure number 80003514. It is located at 40°12′28.2″N 76°8′4.8″W (40.20783, -76.134667) to the northeast of Ephrata, Pennsylvania off Pennsylvania Route 272 on Cocalico Creek Road.

The Stevens post office has ZIP code 17578. The community was named in honor of Thaddeus Stevens. It was originally also called "Reamstown Station", due to its being the closest railroad station to the much larger community of Reamstown. By 1899, the community was just referred to as Stevens P.O.The Schoeneck and Reamstown Elementary Schools, in the Cocalico School District, have Stevens addresses, as do several churches and the Mount Airy Kennels.

The district includes 12 contributing buildings and 1 contributing structure in the rural hamlet of Bucher Thal. The buildings were built between about 1760 and 1900 and include the Bear's Mill (c. 1815), Jacob Keller House (c. 1785, c. 1900), Keller Barn (1892), Lutz House or Brookside Farm (c. 1774 / c. 1900), Eberly-Lutz House (c. 1760), and Lutz Barn (1873).It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1987.

Peter and Catherine Reyer Farmhouse is a historic home located at Ephrata Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. It was built in 1792, and is a two-story, four bay by two bay, limestone Germanic dwelling. It was remodeled about 1875, into a Pennsylvania style farmhouse.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1996.

Eby Shoe Corporation, also known as Fleet-Air Corporation, is a historic factory building complex located at Ephrata, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. The property includes three contributing buildings to the listing. Building "A" was built about 1900, and is a four-story, gable roofed brick building with a two-story flat roofed addition. Building "B" was built in 1919-1920, and is a three-story, gable roofed brick building measuring 48 feet wide and 115 feet deep. Building "C" was built in 1923, and is a four-story, steel frame building with a brick exterior. It measures 48 feet wide and 180 feet deep. The Eby Shoe Corporation closed in 1985.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.

The Mountain Springs Hotel is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is located in Ephrata, Pennsylvania, at the corner of East Main Street and Spring Garden Street. It was originally built in 1848 as a summer resort, capitalizing on its natural spring water, and hosted a variety of high-profile guests including several Presidents. The resort lost its popularity in the early 20th century and fell into disrepair, but was eventually purchased and converted into the first hospital in the Ephrata area—serving from 1937 through 1949. It remained under private ownership and became dilapidated over the following decades, culminating in its complete closure in 1988 and the auctioning of its contents in 1991. The following decade was met with a variety of redevelopment proposals, and in the years around the turn of the 21st century it was decided that the property would be redeveloped with another hotel. The majority of the Mountain Springs Hotel was demolished in 2004, retaining a portion of the Konigmacher mansion. Today, a Hampton Inn hotel and Applebee's restaurant occupy the site alongside the restored building from the original Mountain Springs Hotel.

Ephrata Commercial Historic District is a national historic district located at Ephrata, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. The district includes 36 contributing buildings in the central business district of Ephrata. It has notable examples of the Queen Anne and Italianate architectural styles and buildings designed by noted Lancaster architect C. Emlen Urban. The oldest building dates to 1808 and is the Eagle Hotel. Other notable buildings include the I.G. Sprecher & Sons Hardware (1911), Richard Heitler House (1820), J.W. Yost Liquor Store (c. 1880), Ephrata Railroad Station (1887-1889), U.S. Post Office (1937), Ephrata National Bank (1925), and Grant and Wenger Feed Mill (1924). Located in the district is the separately listed Mentzer Building.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2006.
