Borghetto Lodigiano (Lodigiano: Burghét) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Lodi in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 40 kilometres (25 mi) southeast of Milan and about 11 kilometres (7 mi) south of Lodi. It is located on the left slope of the Lambro river. Borghetto Lodigiano borders the following municipalities: Ossago Lodigiano, Villanova del Sillaro, Brembio, Graffignana, Livraga, San Colombano al Lambro. The economy is mostly based on agriculture and on production of aluminium.

The Parco Tecnologico Padano (meaning Padano Technology Park or Padano Technological Park in English), shortened as PTP, is a science park located in Lodi in the region of Lombardy, Italy. The aim of the park is the promotion of scientific research and technological transition in the fields of agri-food, life sciences and bioeconomics. A number of organizations operate within the PTP, including Faculties of Veterinary Medicine and Agricultural Sciences of the University of Milan and public and private research labs. PTP is the first scientific park in Italy active in the fields of food cultivation and bioeconomy. Lodi railway station (Italian: Stazione di Lodi) serves the city and comune of Lodi, in the region of Lombardy, northern Italy. Launched 1861, it lies along the Milan–Bologna railway. The station is currently managed by Rete Ferroviaria Italiana (RFI). However, the commercial area of the passenger building is managed by Centostazioni. Train services are operated by Trenitalia, Trenitalia TPER (Emilia Romagna) and Trenord. Each of these companies is a subsidiary of Ferrovie dello Stato (FS), Italy's state-owned rail company.
