Pescate (Lecchese: Pescàa) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Lecco in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 45 kilometres (28 mi) northeast of Milan and about 2 kilometres (1 mi) south of Lecco. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,120 and an area of 2.1 square kilometres (0.81 sq mi).The municipality of Pescate contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Pescalina, Insirano, Torrette Inferiori, and Torrette Superiori. Pescate borders the following municipalities: Galbiate, Garlate, Lecco.
