Völklingen Ironworks

Völklingen station is the main railway station in the city of Völklingen in the German state of Saarland. It is now only served by passenger trains on the Saar line (German: Saarstrecke) between Trier and Saarbrücken.

Electro Magnetic festival is an outdoor electronic dance music event which is located in the town of Voelklingen near Saarbrücken, south-west Germany. It first took place in 2012 attracting an audience of 8,000 people. The following year (2013), there were about 10,000 visitors. It was awarded 'Best New European Festival' at the European Festivals Awards in 2012. Usually, the festival takes place in July. The 2020 edition was cancelled. Promoters mentioned harder times for festival organizers.

It is situated on the river Saar, approx. 10 km west of Saarbrücken, and directly borders France. The town is known for its industrial past, the Völklinger Hütte (ironworks) being declared by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.

Petite-Rosselle (French pronunciation: ​[pətit ʁɔsɛl]; German: Kleinrosseln; Palatine German: Klänrossle) is a commune in the Moselle department of the Grand Est region in north-eastern France. The commune is separated from neighbouring Großrosseln to its west by the small river Rossel, which forms the border between France and Germany. It has 6,322 inhabitants (2018).

The Carreau Wendel Museum is the museum of the Wendel-Vuillemin coal pit, in Petite-Rosselle on the Saarland, Lorraine border (Saar-Warndt coal mining basin). Though often in Germany, since 1945 it has been in Moselle department France. The museum is an Anchor point on the European Route of Industrial Heritage.

It is situated on the border with France, approximately 12 km west of Saarbrücken. The neighbouring municipality in France is Petite-Rosselle.

Schwalbach is a municipality in the district of Saarlouis, in Saarland, Germany. It is situated approximately 5 km east of Saarlouis, and 15 km northwest of Saarbrücken.
