Leeds is a neighborhood of Kansas City, Missouri, United States.A post office called Leeds was established in 1890, and remained in operation until 1929. The community's name is a transfer from Leeds, England.It used to be the site of a General Motors assembly plant from 1929-1988.

Both stations share studios on Winchester Avenue in the Ridge-Winchester section of Kansas City, Missouri, while KMBC-TV's transmitter is located in the city's Blue Valley section.KMBC-TV also serves as an alternate ABC affiliate for the St. Joseph market, as its transmitter also produces a city-grade signal that reaches St. Joseph proper and rural areas in the market's central and southern counties. The station is also available in that market on select cable providers (including Suddenlink Communications) as a secondary ABC outlet to KQTV (channel 2), which has served as the network's official St. Joseph station since it became a full-time affiliate in June 1967; KMBC-TV's near-ubiquitous cable distribution in St. Joseph dates back to KQTV's former status as a primary CBS affiliate from its September 1953 sign-on until the former KFEQ-TV disaffiliated from that network in 1967, a period in which the station supplemented its CBS offerings with a limited selection of ABC programs.

KMBZ (980 kHz) is a commercial AM radio station licensed to Kansas City, Missouri. KMBZ is owned by Audacy, Inc. and it airs a talk radio format. Its studios and transmitter tower are in suburban Mission, Kansas, at separate locations. After a local morning drive time news and interview show, simulcast with sister station 98.1 KMBZ-FM, 980 KMBZ's weekday schedule is made up of nationally syndicated talk programs including The Dana Show with Dana Loesch, The Glenn Beck Program, The Sean Hannity Show, The Lars Larson Show, The Joe Pags Show, Armstrong & Getty and Coast to Coast AM with George Noory. World and national news is supplied at the beginning of each hour by ABC News Radio. Weekend programming includes shows on money, health, computers and cooking, as well as paid brokered programming. While KMBZ carries mostly syndicates programming, KMBZ-FM 98.1 airs mostly local talk shows. By day, KMBZ operates at 9,000 watts with a non-directional antenna. At night, it reduces power to 5,000 watts and uses a directional antenna to protect other stations on AM 980 from interference. On January 14, 2015, KMBZ was granted an FCC construction permit to move to the KCCV transmitter site and increase the daytime power. Its signal covers the Kansas City metropolitan area, including parts of Missouri and Kansas.

Brush Creek is a 10.5-mile-long (16.9 km) stream that runs from Johnson County, Kansas, through Jackson County, Missouri. It is a tributary of the Blue River, and by the Blue and the Missouri rivers it is part of the Mississippi River watershed. Brush Creek begins near West 80th Street and Lamar Avenue in Overland Park, Kansas, and drains to the Blue River at Blue Banks Avenue and Hardesty Avenue in Kansas City.

Arrowhead Stadium is an American football stadium in Kansas City, Missouri. It primarily serves as the home venue of the Kansas City Chiefs of the National Football League (NFL). The stadium has been officially named GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium (pronounced G.E.H.A.) since March 2021, following a naming rights deal between GEHA and the Chiefs. The agreement began at the start of the 2021 season and ends in January 2031 with the expiration of the leases for the Chiefs and Royals with the stadium's owner, the Jackson County Sports Complex Authority.It is part of the Truman Sports Complex with adjacent Kauffman Stadium, the home of the Kansas City Royals of Major League Baseball (MLB). Arrowhead Stadium has a seating capacity of 76,416, making it the 25th-largest stadium in the United States and the fourth-largest NFL stadium. It is also the largest sports facility by capacity in the state of Missouri. A $375 million renovation was completed in 2010. The stadium is scheduled to host matches for the 2026 FIFA World Cup and has hosted college football games, as well as other soccer games.

The Truman Sports Complex is a sports and entertainment facility located in Kansas City, Missouri. It is home to two major sports venues: Arrowhead Stadium, home of the National Football League's Kansas City Chiefs, and Kauffman Stadium, home of Major League Baseball's Kansas City Royals. Central High School is a high school located at 3221 Indiana Avenue in Kansas City, Missouri. It is part of the Kansas City Public Schools. Central was established in 1867 in order to help educate the growing population of Kansas City. Formally located in downtown Kansas City, Missouri on 11th and Locust St, Central moved to its current location in 1912. The school colors are blue and white and the school's athletic teams are referred to as the "Eagles". Central has an enrollment of approximately 500 students annually.

The 1995 Kansas City Royals season was a season in American baseball. During this season, the Royals finished second in the American League Central, with a record of 70 wins and 74 losses. This was the first of 17 losing seasons the Royals would suffer through 2012. Although the 1995 Royals had a losing record and finished 30 games behind the Cleveland Indians, the second-place division finish in 1995 was the highest finish for the franchise in the American League Central from 1994, when the Royals joined that division, until the 2014 team also finished second and the 2015 team won the franchise's first Central Division championship.
