Xiwei Bridge

The Maoluo River (Chinese: 貓羅溪; pinyin: Māoluó Xī; Wade–Giles: Mao1-lo2 Hsi1) is a tributary of the Wu River (Dadu River) in Taiwan. It is the main tributary on the left bank of the Wu River. Originating from the Jialishan Range, it flows east of the Bagua Plateau through Nantou County, Changhua County, and Taichung City for 47 kilometers.

Baguashan Tunnel (Chinese: 八卦山隧道) is a railway tunnel through Baguashan in Taiwan, located between Taichung HSR station and Changhua HSR station. With a route length of 7,357 meters, it is the longest tunnel on Taiwan High Speed Rail. Mileage of Baguashan Tunnel is TK173+021to TK180+378.

The Baguashan Tunnel (Chinese: 八卦山隧道), on Provincial Highway No. 76, Taiwan, transverses Baguashan (八卦山) between Lincuo IC. (林厝交流道) and Zhongxing JCT. (中興系統交流道). The length of the north tube for westbound traffic is 4,928 m (3.062 mi). The length of the south tube for eastbound traffic is 4,935 m (3.066 mi). Connecting Yuanlin, Changhua and Caotun, Nantou, its opening significantly reduced the travel time between Changhua and Nantou. It was the longest highway tunnel in Taiwan when opened to traffic in April 2005, until the top rank moved to Hsuehshan Tunnel in National Highway No. 5 in June 2006. It is now the second longest highway tunnel in Taiwan.

Wuri District (Chinese: 烏日區; pinyin: Wūrì Qū) is a district in southern Taichung, Taiwan. Both of the two north–south freeways (National Freeway 1 and National Freeway 3), as well as Provincial Highway 74 pass through Wuri. Wuri is also home to a large military training centre, Chengkungling, as well as Taichung HSR station, which can connect to Taiwan High Speed Rail, Taiwan Railways, and Green line of Taichung Metro.

The Taichung Basin (Chinese: 臺中盆地; pinyin: Táizhōng Péndì), located in the central region of western Taiwan, is the third largest metropolitan area in Taiwan. It occupies parts of Taichung City, Nantou County and Changhua County. The basin borders the Choshui River in the south; the hill lands of Nantou in the east; the Tatu Plateau in the northwest; and the Pakua Plateau in the southwest. A notch connecting the Taichung Basin to the seacoast of Taichung City stretches between the two plateaus.

Asia University (AU; Chinese: 亞洲大學; Pe̍h-ōe-jī: A-chiu Tāi-ha̍k), formerly Taichung Health and Management College (Chinese: 臺中健康暨管理學院; Pe̍h-ōe-jī: Tâi-tiong Kiān-khong Kì Koán-lí Ha̍k-īⁿ), is a private university in Taichung, Taiwan. Founded in 2001, it offers education for degrees in health and medical science, computer science and electrical engineering, creative design, management, and humanities and social sciences. The university was founded with the goal of becoming an internationally competitive comprehensive university, and has been growing quickly since its creation. Specifically, being essentially a college with 17 departments and only about 2000 students when established in 2001, it has become a medium-size university with 28 departments and more than 12,000 students in 2018.

The Asia Museum of Modern Art (traditional Chinese: 亞洲現代美術館; simplified Chinese: 亚洲现代美术馆; pinyin: Yàzhōu Xiàndài Měishùguǎn; Taiwanese: A-tsiu Hiān-tāi Bí-su̍t-kuán) is an art museum in Wufeng District, Taichung, Taiwan. The museum is located at Asia University.

Nantun is a metro station on the Green Line operated by Taichung Metro in Nantun District, Taichung, Taiwan.

Mingdao High School is a private secondary school located at 497, Sec 1, Zhongshan Road, Wuri District, Taichung, Taiwan 41401. The school serves grades 7-12. There are 7,510 students. The K-12 Education Administration (K12EA; traditional Chinese: 教育部國民及學前教育署; simplified Chinese: 教育部国民及学前教育署; pinyin: Jiàoyùbù Guómínjí Xuéqián Jiàoyùshǔ) is the agency of the Ministry of Education of Taiwan responsible for formulating, executing and supervising educational policies and systems for senior high school education and below in Taiwan.

Tri-Mountain National Scenic Area (Chinese: 參山國家風景區; pinyin: Sānshān Guójiā Fēngjǐngqū) is a national scenic area located within central Taiwan, spanning Hsinchu County, Miaoli County, Taichung City, Changhua County, and Nantou County. The area is composed of three non-contiguous scenic areas (Baguashan, Shitoushan, and Lishan), which are all named after mountains, hence the name. The three scenic areas were formerly distinct and designated as province-level scenic areas. With the deprecation of the Taiwan Provincial Government, the areas were merged into one for easier management on 16 March 2001. The management office is located outside of the scenic area in Wufeng District, Taichung.
