NOKE (Chinese: NOKE忠泰樂生活) is a shopping mall in the Dazhi area of Zhongshan District, Taipei, Taiwan that began trial operations on 29 April 2023. With a total floor area of 36,300 m2 (391,000 sq ft), it has 7 floors above ground and 3 floors below ground. Main core stores include Tsutaya Bookstore, Michelin restaurant La Vie, Apu Jan, Onibus and Aurora Ice Rink. The proportion of shopping malls is 48% for retail, 34% for catering, and 18% for entertainment.

Miramar Entertainment Park (Chinese: 美麗華百樂園; pinyin: Měilìhuá Bǎilèyuán) is a shopping mall located in the Dazhi area in Zhongshan District of Taipei, Taiwan. The shopping mall contains an IMAX theater. With 28m × 21m dimensions, its movie screen is the largest in Asia for screening commercial films.

The Yihwa International Complex (Chinese: 西華富邦; pinyin: Xīhuá Fù Bāng) is a complex of skyscrapers located in Zhongshan District, Taipei, Taiwan. The complex consists of three skyscrapers: Towers A and B are residential twin skyscrapers with a height of 160 m (520 ft) and each tower comprises 45 floors above ground with four basement levels; Tower C is a skyscraper hotel with a height of 150 m (490 ft) and comprises 42 floors above ground with four basement levels. They are completed in 2014 and are the tallest buildings in Zhongshan District as of December 2020. Tower C houses the Taipei Marriott Hotel, which is managed by the Yihwa International Hotel Corporation. It has a total of 318 rooms and is one of the top luxury hotels in Taipei. The complex is located next to the Miramar Entertainment Park and features a unique view of the Taipei skyline from the rooms.

Marriott Taipei is a hotel on Lequn 2nd Road, Zhongshan District, Taipei, Taiwan. The hotel is located in Block C of the Yihwa International Complex and is the first Marriott Hotel in Taiwan. With a total of 502 rooms and 5 restaurants, the hotel started trial operations on August 24, 2015, and officially opened on September 28, 2015. The hotel features a unique view of the Taipei skyline from the rooms and is one of the top luxury hotels in the city. The lower floors of the building houses a shopping center TM Midtown, which opened on 10 November 2017.

The Taipei Metro Jiannan Road station is located in the Zhongshan District in Taipei, Taiwan. It is a station on Brown Line and a future transfer station to the Circular Line as part of the second phase.

Hotel Indigo Taipei North is a hotel on Zhifu Road, Zhongshan District, Taipei, Taiwan. In 2016 it became part of the Hotel Indigo chain. It was invested and constructed by Yonghong Group and entrusted by the InterContinental Hotel Group to operate and manage it under the Hotel Indigo brand. It is the ninth business base of InterContinental Hotel in Taiwan and the third Indigo brand hotel. With a total of 149 rooms, the hotel started trial operations on January 1, 2020, and officially opened on February 12, 2020. The lower floors of the building houses a shopping center Chun Place, which opened in September 2020.

The Pxmart Headquarters (Chinese: 全聯企業總部大樓) is a 22-storey, 358 ft (109 m) skyscraper office building completed in 2013 and located in Zhongshan District, Taipei, Taiwan. The building serves as the corporate headquarters of the Taiwanese supermarket chain PX Mart.

The Meiti Riverside Park (traditional Chinese: 美堤河濱公園; simplified Chinese: 美堤河滨公园; pinyin: Měidī Hébīn Gōngyuán) is a waterfront park along the Keelung River in Zhongshan District, Taipei, Taiwan.

The 2014 Taipei Metro attack was a mass stabbing spree that took place on 21 May 2014, directed at random civilians on a Taipei Metro train near Jiangzicui Station, resulting in four deaths and 24 injuries. It was the first fatal attack on the city's subway system since operations began in 1996. The suspected attacker, Cheng Chieh, then 21, was arrested after the attack. He was sentenced to 144 years in prison and four death sentences, and was executed on 10 May 2016.

The Taipei Metro Tucheng station is a station on the Bannan Line located in Tucheng District, New Taipei, Taiwan. It will soon be a transfer station with the Wanda–Zhonghe–Shulin line in 2028, where the station is aboveground instead of underground.
