The Landmark Plaza Taichung (Chinese: 置地廣場台中) is an under-construction skyscraper located in Taichung's 7th Redevelopment Zone, Xitun District, Taichung, Taiwan. Upon its expected completion in 2026, it will be among the top ten tallest buildings in Taichung. The architectural height of building is 175 m (574 ft), and it comprises 34 floors above ground, as well as 7 basement levels. Upon completion, Landmark Plaza Taichung will serve as the Taichung headquarter of Cathay Life Insurance, just like its counterpart Cathay Landmark in Taipei. The building will be constructed by the Japanese firm Sumitomo Mitsui Construction.

The Taichung City Tun District Art Center (TTDAC; traditional Chinese: 臺中市屯區藝文中心; simplified Chinese: 台中市屯区艺文中心; pinyin: Táizhōng Shì Tún Qū Yìwén Zhōngxīn) is an art center in Taiping District, Taichung, Taiwan as a primary venue for performing arts, music, fine arts and cultural promotion. It is the subordinate institute to Taichung City Cultural Affairs Bureau.

Tech Mall (Chinese: 中科購物廣場) was a shopping center located in Xitun District, Taichung, Taiwan. With a total floor area of 15,642 m2 (168,370 sq ft), the mall officially opened on 14 October 2005. On 1 June 2020, the mall was forced to close by the Taichung City Government, which deemed the mall as an illegal construction.

The Windsor Hotel Taichung (Chinese: 裕元花園酒店) is a set of twin skyscrapers, completed in 2005, in Xitun District, Taichung, Taiwan. Tower 'A' reaches the height of 123 m (404 ft) and consists of 26 floors above ground. Tower 'A' houses the five-star Windsor Hotel. Tower 'B' reaches the height of 120 m (390 ft) and consists of 23 floors above ground. Tower 'B' houses the corporate headquarters of Pou Chen Corporation.

Zhang Family Temple (Chinese: 張家祖廟; pinyin: Zhāngjiā Zǔmiào) is an ancestral shrine located in Xitun District, Taichung City, Taiwan. Built in 1904, the shrine is protected as a city monument.

Xitun District or Situn District (Chinese: 西屯區; pinyin: Xitún Qū, literally "western village") is the second-most populated district of Taichung, Taiwan. It is located on the western side of the city. Once considered part of the countryside, the district has seen rapid growth in recent years with department store and office towers in the redevelopment zone. Taichung City Hall is located in the district.

Xitun Football Field is an association football venue in Taichung, Taiwan. It is currently home to Taichung Futuro and Taichung Rock of the Taiwan Football Premier League. The venue was built by Taichung City Government in 2024.

Tunghai University (THU; traditional Chinese: 東海大學; simplified Chinese: 东海大学; Pe̍h-ōe-jī: Tang-hái Tāi-ha̍k) is the oldest private university in Taiwan, established in 1955. It was founded by the United Board for Christian Higher Education in Asia (UBCHEA). It is located in Xitun District, Taichung, Taiwan. According to Times Higher Education's Impact Rankings 2020, the university is rated as the most impactful private university in Taiwan and third in the country.The first president, Beauson Tseng, said "Pioneering will be our watchword", hoping that Tunghai would become an outstanding and innovative university. Tunghai became the first university in Taiwan to introduce universal AI education, AWS-powered innovation school and the first in Central Taiwan to establish a Chinese Language Center. The university is known for its liberal arts education, and universal artificial intelligence curriculum.On the grounds, the Luce Memorial Chapel (designed by architects Chen Chi-kwan and I. M. Pei) is a local landmark. The logo of the university contains a cross in reference to the statement in the founding documents that it was "founded in the love of Jesus," and the three linked circles refer to the Holy Trinity as well as the motto, "Truth, Faith, Deeds". The university shares its name with Tokai University in Japan. The two universities have since entered a partnership agreement.

The Luce Memorial Chapel (traditional Chinese: 路思義敎堂; simplified Chinese: 路思义教堂; pinyin: Lùsī Yì Jiàotáng) is a Christian chapel on the campus of Tunghai University in Xitun District, Taichung, Taiwan. It was designed by architects I. M. Pei and Chi-kuan Chen.

Chuhofa Sky Building (Chinese: 聚合發天廈) is a 38-story, 144.7 m (475 ft) residential skyscraper completed in 2016 and located in Taichung's 7th Redevelopment Zone, Xitun District, Taichung, Taiwan. As of February 2021, it is 23rd tallest building in Taichung. The building was constructed under strict requirements of preventing damage caused by earthquakes and typhoons common in Taiwan.
