Expo 2020 (Dubai Metro)

Expo 2020 (Arabic: إكسبو 2020) was a World Expo hosted by Dubai in the United Arab Emirates from 1 October 2021 to 31 March 2022. There are 200 pavilions in Expo 2020 Dubai, out of which 191 are representatives of participating countries. The following nations and organizations are participating in Expo 2020:

Expo 2020 (Arabic: إكسبو 2020) was a World Expo hosted by Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates, from 1 October 2021 to 31 March 2022. Originally scheduled for 20 October 2020 to 10 April 2021, it was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic in the United Arab Emirates. Despite being postponed, organizers kept the name Expo 2020 for marketing and branding purposes. The event had recorded more than 24 million visits in its six months.The Bureau International des Expositions (BIE) general assembly in Paris named Dubai as the host on 27 November 2013.

Dubai Investments Park (DIP), including Dubai Investment Park 1 (to the west) and Dubai Investment Park 2 (to the east), is a business park area in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, including commercial, and industrial, and residential development. The Green Community Village and Green Community East in DIP 1 are to the north and Dunes Village in DIP 2 is to the northeast. DIP was established in 1995.Dubai Investments Park covers an area of 2,300 hectares. Greenfield International School, a private international school established in 2007, is located here. The Dubai Investment Park metro station in the Green Community Village area of Dubai Investment Park 1 is on the Route 2020 branch line of the Dubai Metro to the Expo 2020 site immediately to the south of Dubai Investment Park, across Expo Road (E77). To the west is the Jebel Ali Industrial Area, across the E311 road, and to the southwest is the Jebel Ali Free Zone Extension. The development includes the Lagoons, under development by Schön Properties since 2005; Schön's assets were seized by the Dubai Real Estate Regulatory Agency in August 2018 over the company's failure to complete the development.

Greenfield International School (GIS; formerly Greenfield Community School) is an international, private school, located in Dubai Investments Park, Dubai, UAE. The school was established in 2007 and has followed the IB Curriculum since 2011. GIS is managed by the Taaleem group, with education for children from Pre-K to Grade 12.

Dubai Investment Park (Arabic: مجمع دبي للاستثمار) is a rapid transit station on the Route 2020 branch of the Red Line of the Dubai Metro in Dubai, UAE, serving Dubai Investment Park.The metro station opened on 1 June 2021 at the same time as the Expo 2020 station as part of Route 2020, created to link central Dubai to the Expo 2020 exhibition site. The schedule was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic in the United Arab Emirates.The station is one of two underground stations on the Route 2020 section of the Red Line. It is located at the Green Community in Dubai Investment Park. Facilities included bus stops, disabled parking, retail units, and a taxi drop-off zone.

Jumeirah Golf Estates (Arabic: عقارات جميرا للجولف) is a rapid transit station on the Red Line of the Dubai Metro in Dubai, UAE, serving Jumeirah Golf Estates.The metro station opened on 1 October 2021 as part of Route 2020, (the same as when Expo 2020 was open) created to link central Dubai to the Expo 2020 exhibition site. The schedule has been delayed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.The station is one of two underground stations on Route 2020, along with the Dubai Investment Park metro station. It is located at Jumeirah Golf Estates. Facilities included bus stops, disabled parking, retail units, and a taxi drop-off zone.

The Jebel Ali refinery was constructed from 1996 to 1999. It is located in Dubai and operated by the Emirates National Oil Co. (ENOC), which is owned by the Government of Dubai. It is a 120 kbpd gas condensate refinery, and processes mainly condensate or light crude oil. These inputs are processed to various products, including LPG, naphtha, jet fuel, diesel fuel and fuel oil. The plant consists of two 60 kbit/s condensate distillation units (often referred to as condensate splitters) and five merox sweetening units. An upgrade - costing $850 million (US) - was implemented in 2010 for the production of reformat and low-sulfur naphtha through installation of a reformer and a hydrotreater. In 2014, a contract for a new upgrade project was awarded to KBR. The upgrade will lead to the production of Euro V grade products.

UAE Exchange (Arabic: مركز الإمارات العربية المتحدة للصرافة; previously called Jebel Ali) is a rapid transit station on the Red Line of the Dubai Metro in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Jumeirah Golf Estates is a luxury residential golf community that is located along E 311 road (United Arab Emirates), in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It is rated among the top 10 lifestyle estates in the world.Jumeirah Golf Estates consists of over 1,500 villas, town houses and apartments arranged into more than a dozen distinct communities, set alongside two Greg Norman-designed 18-hole golf courses, each with a different environmentally themed name – Fire and Earth. The Earth Course is the host venue for the DP World Tour Championship, Dubai, the season ending tournament on the European Tour.Jumeirah Golf Estates is served by its own metro station on the Route 2020 section of Red Line on the Dubai Metro, serving the Expo 2020 site to the south.

Danube (Arabic: دانوب; formerly Jebel Ali Industrial) is a rapid transit station on the Branch Line of the Dubai Metro in Dubai, UAE, serving Jebel Ali and surrounding areas.The station opened as part of the Red Line on 12 December 2012.Danube station is located on the Sheikh Zayed Road between the junctions with the D57 and E77 roads. To the east is Jabal Ali Industrial 1. To the west is Mena Jabal Ali. The station is close to a number of bus routes.

DP World is an Emirati multinational logistics company based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It specialises in cargo logistics, port terminal operations, maritime services and free trade zones. Formed in 2005 by the merger of Dubai Ports Authority and Dubai Ports International, DP World handles 70 million containers that are brought in by around 70,000 vessels annually. This equates to roughly 10% of global container traffic accounted for by their 82 marine and inland terminals present in over 40 countries. Until 2016, DP World was primarily a global port operator, and since then, it has acquired other companies up and down the value chain.

Al Furjan (Arabic: الفرجان) is a rapid transit station on the Red Line of the Dubai Metro in Dubai, UAE, serving Al Furjan and surrounding areas in Jebel Ali.The station opened as part of Route 2020, created to link to Expo 2020, on 1 January 2021. It is located on an elevated section of the metro above Gardens Boulevard, on the boundary between Al Furjan and Discovery Gardens. As of May 2021 it is the final station in operation on Route 2020. Beyond this station, the metro line goes underground.
