Monster (Gröna Lund)

Gröna Lund (Swedish pronunciation: [ɡrøːnaˈlɵnːd]; lit. "Green Grove"), or colloquially Grönan (Swedish pronunciation: [ˈɡrø̂ːnan]), is an amusement park in Stockholm, Sweden. Located on the seaward side of Djurgården Island, it is relatively small compared to other amusement parks, mainly because of its central location, which limits expansion. The 3.8 ha (9.4 acres) amusement park has over 30 attractions and is a popular venue for concerts in the summer. It was founded in 1883 by James Schultheiss.

Insane is a roller coaster at Gröna Lund in Stockholm. Insane is an Intamin Zac-Spin roller coaster. It opened in 2009. The train cars contain 4 seats with 2 on each side. When navigating the course, the trains are free to spin and flip. In 2011, a similar roller coaster, Green Lantern: First Flight, opened at Six Flags Magic Mountain. After the deadly incident on Inferno at Terra Mítica in Benidorm, Spain on 7 July 2014, and because the two rides share several similarities, Gröna Lund had ceased running Insane for several days before reopening the coaster.

Jetline is a roller coaster at Gröna Lund in Stockholm, Sweden. It has gained worldwide recognition for its curved lift hill, an anomaly amongst roller coasters. It was opened in 1988 and was a clone of the Knightmare roller coaster at Camelot Theme Park however It was modified in 1997 by Mauer Söhne to have a longer and steeper drop. Knightmare also pulled 5Gs while Jetline only pulls 4.5. A tunnel was also added at the bottom of the first drop.

Vilda Musen, "The Wild Mouse", is a roller coaster at Gröna Lund in Stockholm, Sweden. It is the tallest wild mouse roller coaster in the world, as well as one of the fastest.

ABBA The Museum is a Swedish interactive exhibition about the pop band ABBA that opened in Stockholm, Sweden in May 2013. ABBA's collected works are showcased in a contemporary, interactive setting at Djurgården, Stockholm.

Kvasten, "The Broom" is a steel inverted roller coaster at the Gröna Lund amusement park in Stockholm, Sweden. The ride is a Suspended Family Coaster built by Vekoma designed specifically for families.

Liljevalchs konsthall (Swedish for "Liljevalch's Art Gallery") is an art gallery located on the Djurgården island in Stockholm, Sweden. Designed by architect Carl Bergsten (1879–1935) and inaugurated in March 1916, it is today owned by the City of Stockholm. Behind the entrance on the north-western corner is a small vestibule. To the right of the latter is a large sculpture hall leading to two large galleries with skylights intended for paintings, flanked by series of smaller exhibition spaces. The eastern end of the building has a large-scale portico facing a small park surrounded by the large windows of a small restaurant. One of the most appreciated exhibition spaces in Sweden, Liljevalch is renowned for its well-proportioned spaces in a range of sizes and its restaurant Blå porten ("Blue Gate"). The concrete pillars and beams forming the structural framework of the building are left exposed as pilasters and mouldings in the façade with brick walls and a horizontal row of windows filling the spaces between them. In front of and above the main entrance is a sculpture and a relief by Carl Milles.

The Vrak – Museum of Wrecks is a Swedish museum of maritime archeology in Stockholm in Sweden. It is managed by the Maritime Museum in Stockholm and was opened in September, 2021 in Boat hangar No 2 at Galärvarvet (Galley Shipyard) at Djurgården.

Hasselbacken is a restaurant in Cirkus, Djurgården in Stockholm, Sweden with a connection to a hotel at Hazelliusbacken 20 in Södra Djurgården with a history dating back to 1748. Since 2019 the restaurant and hotel have been part of the Pop House Sweden group preserved by the majority owners Björn Ulvaeus and Conni Jonsson.

The General Art and Industrial Exposition of Stockholm of 1897 (Swedish: Allmänna konst- och industriutställningen) also known as Stockholm Exhibition or Stockholm World's Fair (Stockholmsutställningen) was a World's Fair staged in 1897 in Stockholm, Sweden.

Biologiska museet is a museum located in Djurgården in Stockholm. It exhibits a collection of stuffed European birds and mammals in dioramas. Some of the diorama backgrounds were created by artist Bruno Liljefors, known for his dramatic paintings of Scandinavian wildlife. The museum was built in 1893 after a design by architect Agi Lindegren who was inspired by medieval Norwegian stave churches.

Cirkus (Swedish: Cirkus Arena och Restaurang AB) is an arena in Djurgården, Stockholm, that holds 1,650 people. It was originally used as a circus (the old official name being Cirkusteatern), but is today mostly used for concerts and musical shows. The French circusman Didier Gautier became a Swedish citizen in 1830, and was granted permission to build a permanent circus building on Djurgården in Stockholm. In 1869 Didi Gautier sold his circus Didier Gautiers menagerie to Adèle Houcke. The building took fire later, and was rebuilt in 1892 as present Djurgårdscircus.
