Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIM Bangalore or IIMB) is a public business school and Institute of National Importance located in Bangalore, India. Founded in 1973, it was the third IIM to be established, after IIM Calcutta and IIM Ahmedabad.The institute offers Post Graduate, Doctoral, Executive Education and Certificate Programmes. The MBA programme is the flagship programme of the BSchool and is offered in three modes - one year full-time, two year full-time and two year executive (weekend). The Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP), is the traditional flagship two-year full-time residential MBA programme, for candidates with 0–4 years experience and admitted through the Common Admission Test (CAT). IIM Bangalore offers a flagship one-year full-time residential MBA programme - the Executive Post Graduate Programme in Management (EPGP), modeled on global MBA pedagogy, for candidates with higher experience and admitted through Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT),IIMB also offers two-year part-time executive MBA programme for working executives, a one-year full-time programme - Master of Management Studies in Public Policy and a two-year full-time MBA programme in Business Analytics, apart from the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD). The Certificate Programmes include the N. S. Ramaswamy Pre-doctoral Fellowship (NSR Pre-doc), which is a one-year full-time apprenticeship programme with a focus on inclusion, and the Mahatma Gandhi National Fellowship (MGNF), a two-year academic programme. In addition to its academic programmes, the institute is engaged in facilitating research, offering consulting services, conducting seminars and academic conferences and publishing journals.

IIMB is an important upcoming elevated metro station on the North-South corridor of the Pink Line of Namma Metro in Bangalore, India. This metro station serves mainly the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, and also some prime locations such as Fortis Hospital (Bannerghatta Road), Centro Mall and Royaloak Furnitures. This metro station is stated to become operational around Q4 of 2024 / March 2025.

Arekere Lake is situated in the Arekere - Hulimavu area of the city of Bangalore. Originally spread over an area of approximately 37 acres, the lake is bounded on the west by Bannerghatta Road, on the north by BDA Eighty Feet Road, on the east by Shantinikethan Layout and on the south by Hulimavu Main Road. According to the BBMP website, the perimeter of the lake is about 3 kilometres (1.9 mi). It was possibly a manmade water reservoir created approximately 100 years ago. The lake is under the jurisdiction of the Bangalore Development Authority (BDA). As is the case with many other lakes in Bangalore, in the last two decades the Arekere Lake has been encroached upon by real estate developers, and the current extent of the lake has been estimated to be only approximately 25 acres (0.10 km2). Also due to rapid urbanization of the rain catchment area of the lake and the consequent lack of seasonal water filling, by the end of the first decade of the 21st century the lake had nearly dried up. In October 2012 the lake was breached, and sewage water flowing out of the lake flooded the nearby residential areas. Following the floods, BDA prepared a detailed plan for the development of the lake at a cost of Rs.14 crore.

Bilekahalli is a suburb in Bangalore, India, situated off Bannerghatta Road. It has gained prominence in recent times due to a boom in real estate and profusion of Information technology companies. Several prominent hospitals as well as residential complexes have been set up in this area. Bilekahalli is also home to the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, one of India's premier management institutes.

Hulimavu is an upcoming elevated metro station on the North-South corridor of the Pink Line of Namma Metro in Bangalore, India. This metro station serves mainlyChrist University (Bannerghatta Road), and also prime locations such as Royal Meenakshi Mall, Sri Meenakshi Sundareshwara Temple, Hulimavu Police Station and Kothanur Metro Depot, which will handle all the Pink Line Namma Metro trainsets for maintenance purposes. This metro station is stated to become operational around Q4 of 2024 / March 2025.

BGS National Public School is a CBSE affiliated school located in the Hulimavu suburb of Bangalore.

The Hulimave cave temple, also known as the Hulimavu Shiva Cave Temple or simply the Cave Temple, is located in Hulimavu, Bannerghatta Road, Karnataka, very close to the BGS National Public School. The Cave Temple is administered by the Sri Sri Bala Gangadaraswami Mutt. It is stated that a saint Sri Ramanand Swamiji did tapas in the cave for many years and his samadhi is also found inside. There are three main deities consecrated inside. A Shiva Lingam occupies the center, on one side there is a Devi idol and on the other side, an idol of Ganesha has been consecrated. On the other side of the cave, a very old dhyana mantap is also found. The cave has been declared as a 2000 year old single rock cave. The temple is placed within the natural cave inside the rocks. The detailed history of the temple is however not available, but it was stated that the temple is as old as 4–5 hundred years, founded by Sri Sri Balagangadaraswami.Visitors are encouraged to learn about and go around to each of the deities inside the cave. The samadhi with the photo of the saint is also there. For unknown reasons such temples have not gained publicity even though those who know the temple visit it very often.

Puttenahalli lake ( ಪುಟ್ಟೇನಹಳ್ಳಿ ಕೆರೆ) is a small, restored freshwater lake located in JP Nagar 7th Phase, South Bangalore. The area of the lake is about 13 acres. The primary water sources are rain and surface water diverted to the lake through channels. The lake is currently maintained by Puttenahalli Neighbourhood Lake Improvement Trust (PNLIT) . The lake was on the brink of extinction, but due to the efforts of PNLIT, is now a haven for bird-watchers and on its way to being completely restored.

Swami Vivekananda Youth Movement (SVYM) is a development organization founded by a group of medicos led by Dr R Balasubramaniam based in Saragur near Mysore in the Indian state of Karnataka. The organization is engaged in building a new civil society in India through its grassroots to policy-level action in health, education and community development. They have been recognized by private and government bodies inside and outside of Karnataka. Their work in the field of AIDS prevention was recognized by the Indian government. They received awards such as the 'National Youth Award' from the Indian government, and the Mahaveer Award for work in Community and Social Service from the Mahaveer Foundation.

The Indian Music Experience Museum (IME) is India's first interactive music museum, located in Jayaprakash Nagar, Bengaluru Urban, Karnataka. Established in 2019, the museum is dedicated to preserving and showcasing Indian musical heritage through interactive exhibits and educational programs. The non-profit institution is supported by the Brigade Group and occupies 50,000 square feet of space across three floors.

Kalena Agrahara is an upcoming elevated southern terminal metro station on the North-South corridor of the Pink Line of Namma Metro in Bangalore, India. This metro station serves residential properties and a few other locations including Prestige Elysian, Holy Spirit School (ICSE), Doddakammanahalli suburban area and Decathlon (Bannerghatta Road). This metro station is stated to become operational around Q4 of 2024 / March 2025.

JP Nagar 4th Phase is an upcoming elevated metro station on the North-South corridor of the Pink Line of Namma Metro in Bangalore, India. Around this metro station holds the main Vega City Mall and Gopalan Innovation Mall followed by many residential properties, restaurants, resto-bars and street shoppings. This metro station is stated to become operational around Q4 of 2024 / March 2025.This metro station has been considered as the terminal station under the proposed Orange Line under Namma Metro.
