This metro station is stated to become operational around Q4 of 2024 / March 2025.This metro station has been considered as the terminal station under the proposed Orange Line under Namma Metro.

Around this metro station holds the main Sri Jayadeva Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences and Research Healthcare Institute followed by Valtech, a software company in Bengaluru. As per latest reports, the Yellow Line is stated to be operational post May 2024 due to the upcoming Indian general election which will occur during April-May 2024 (under Pink Line, around 2025).

Raggigudda-Silk Board Flyover is a rail-cum-road flyover under construction in the city of Bengaluru in Karnataka, India. It is the first double decker flyover in Bengaluru, which is being built by the Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited between Central Silk Board and Ragigudda as part of the RV Road-Bommasandra Metro line (Reach-5). After completion, it will become the tallest rail-cum-road flyover in South India, which is expected to be inaugurated in December 2023.

As per latest reports, this metro station is stated to be operational post May 2024 due to the upcoming Indian general election which will occur during April-May 2024.
