Newland Park is a Grade II listed country house and estate near the village of Chalfont St Peter in Buckinghamshire.

Philipshill Wood is a 77 acres (31 ha) area of woodland in the English county of Buckinghamshire, situated on the border with Hertfordshire about 1 mile (1.6 km) from the village of Chorleywood. It is within the Chiltern Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and is owned by the Woodland Trust. The wood is fully open to the public, with some parking available in Old Shire Lane, to the east of the wood.

Shrubs Wood is a privately owned, Grade II* listed, Art Deco country house in Chalfont St Peter, Buckinghamshire, England. Built between 1933 and 1934, Shrubs Wood was designed by Erich Mendelsohn and Serge Chermayeff. It is one of only two residential properties designed during their short partnership (the other is Cohen House in Chelsea, London).Shrubs Wood is notable for its exterior, staircase and integrated furniture. It is unique as a Modernist interpretation of the traditional English country house and is considered an important example of "mature" Modernism. Shrubs Wood was originally named Nimmo House, before being renamed by Bridget D'Oyly Carte when she bought the property in 1949.Shrubs Wood has been used as a location for period film and TV series such as Agatha Christie's Marple, Agatha Christie's Poirot, Midsomer Murders, Jonathan Creek and Endeavour.

Chalfont Common is a hamlet in the parish of Chalfont St Peter, Buckinghamshire, England. It is located in the Chiltern Hills, approximately one mile to the north east of Chalfont St Peter village centre. Chalfont Common is 19.7 miles (31.7 km) west-north-west of Charing Cross, central London. It is located east of the River Misbourne and was one of Chalfont St Peter's three commons (the other two being Gold Hill Common and Austenwood Common). Housing of all sorts developed around and on the common, some dating back to the 1890s. In the 1960s a post office was constructed on the common, which has since closed. It is also the home of the Epilepsy Society which was founded in 1892.

The Vache is an estate near Chalfont St Giles in Buckinghamshire, England. Located within the estate is a monument dedicated to the memory of Captain James Cook (1728–1779), the explorer. It has been owned or occupied by, among others, Hester and George Fleetwood, regicide of Charles I.

Heronsgate (or formerly Herringsgate) is a settlement on the outskirts of Chorleywood, Hertfordshire founded by Feargus O'Connor and the Chartist Cooperative Land Company (later the National Land Company) as O'Connorsville or O'Connorville in 1846.

Chorleywood is a London Underground and National Rail station in Travelcard Zone 7 (previously zone B) on the Metropolitan line. The village of Chorleywood is in the Three Rivers district of Hertfordshire about 20 miles (32 km) from London. Chorleywood station is also served by Chiltern Railways, which runs trains from London Marylebone station through to Aylesbury.

Chalfont St Giles is a village and civil parish in southeast Buckinghamshire, England. It is in a group of villages called The Chalfonts, which also includes Chalfont St Peter and Little Chalfont. It lies on the edge of the Chiltern Hills, 20.9 miles (33.6 km) west-northwest of Charing Cross, central London, and near Seer Green, Jordans, Chalfont St Peter, Little Chalfont and Amersham."Chalfont" means chalk spring, in reference to the water-carrying capacities of the local terrain. The cockney rhyming slang term "chalfonts", meaning haemorrhoids (piles), is derived from the name of the village. The village has a duck pond that is fed by the River Misbourne. The village sign was designed and painted by Doreen Wilcockson ARCA in 2001. Chalfont St Giles is famous for the poet Milton's only surviving home.

The Chiltern Tunnel is a high-speed railway tunnel currently under construction in Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire, England, and will upon completion carry the High Speed 2 (HS2) railway line under the Chiltern Hills. The twin-bore tunnels, which are 16.04 km (9.97 miles) long, will be the longest on the HS2 line. Each tunnel will also have additional 220 m (720 ft) entry and 135 m (443 ft) exit perforated concrete portals to reduce sudden changes in air pressure and subsequent noise.A contract for the tunnel's construction was awarded in 2017; preparatory work commenced during the following year. In May 2021, it was announced that excavation had commenced. The boring process, which is to be largely performed by a pair of tunnel boring machines (TBMs), is advancing at an average speed of 15 m (49 ft) per day; it is anticipated that it will be complete in March 2024. As of December 2023, the first TBM had excavated a total distance of 15 km (9.3 miles).

Chalfont St Peter Association Football Club is a football club based in Chalfont St Peter, Buckinghamshire, England. They are currently members of the Combined Counties League Premier Division North and play at Mill Meadow.

Milton's Cottage is a timber-framed 16th-century building in the Buckinghamshire village of Chalfont St Giles. It was the former home of writer John Milton, and is open to the public as a writer's house museum.

Chalfont St Peter is a large village and civil parish in southeastern Buckinghamshire, England. It is in a group of villages called The Chalfonts which also includes Chalfont St Giles and Little Chalfont. The villages lie between High Wycombe and Rickmansworth. Chalfont St Peter is one of the largest villages, with nearly 13,000 residents. The urban population for Chalfont St Peter and Gerrards Cross is 19,622, the two villages being considered a single area by the Office for National Statistics. Gerrards Cross was once a hamlet in the parish of Chalfont St Peter, but became a village and civil parish in its own right and is now a town. Chalfont St Peter is 19.8 miles (31.9 km) west-north-west of Charing Cross, central London and is also in close proximity to Heathrow Airport, Pinewood and Elstree film studios, and the motorway network (M25, M40, M1 and M4).
