Llanfyrnach railway station

Llanfyrnach () is a village and parish in Pembrokeshire, Wales. The village is in the electoral ward and community of Crymych. The village of Crymych and the hamlets of Hermon, Glandwr and the eastern part of Pentre Galar are in Llanfyrnach parish. Llanfyrnach means the church of St Brynach. Llanfyrnach village is in a remote upland area on the headwaters of the River Tâf, about 11 miles (18 km) from Cardigan.

Llanfyrnach Rural District was an administrative division of Pembrokeshire, Wales.

Glogue () is a hamlet and post town, 1 mile (1.6 km) north of Llanfyrnach, in the community of Crymych in the east of the county of Pembrokeshire, Wales. It was the site of slate quarrying from the 18th century; the industry employed over 80 men when the railway came to the area in the 19th century and improved distribution. Quarrying ended in 1926 and the railway closed in 1962. Glogue Farm is just north of the settlement, in Clydau community.

It is at the eastern end of the Preseli Mountains, 1 mile (1.6 km) north of Llanfyrnach, with much of the village around 250 metres (820 ft) above sea level.

Blaenwaun is a small village in Carmarthenshire, Wales, 11 km (7 mi) north of Whitland. It is one of the five villages of Llanwinio parish, in the diocese of St. David's. It lies 220 m (720 ft) above sea level, making it one of the highest villages in the West Wales peninsula. The village features a pub named Tafarn Yr Oen (The Lamb Inn). There is a phone box and a children's play area owned by Llanwino Community Council. Moreia Welsh Independent Chapel was built in 1828 and remodelled in 1885. It was previously home to the smallest post office in Wales, a 5 by 2.9 m (16 by 10 ft) brick structure built in 1936 which was moved to St Fagans National Museum of History, near Cardiff, in 1992. As of 2022, a mobile post office visits the village twice a week.Dyffryn Brodyn, a 5.5 MW 11-turbine wind farm built in 1994, is adjacent to the village.

Lammas Ecovillage (Welsh: Tir-y-Gafel) is a low-impact, off-grid ecovillage in Glandwr, near Crymych in Pembrokeshire, West Wales, comprising nine households and a community hub on a 76 acres (31 ha) site. Buildings are constructed of natural materials and energy obtained from renewable sources. Planning permission took some years to obtain, but has established a replicable template for similar future developments in Wales.

Glandwr is a small rural village in the parish of Llanfyrnach and the community of Crymych, Pembrokeshire, Wales. The village appears on a pre-1850 parish map as Glan-dwr. It is linked by unclassified roads to adjacent settlements and to the A478 road.Glandwr sits on the River Gafel, which joins the River Taf to the southeast, and is the location of Lammas Ecovillage.
