Pembridge

The Church of St Mary the Virgin, Pembridge, Herefordshire, United Kingdom is an active parish church in the Diocese of Hereford. The church is dedicated to Mary, mother of Jesus. It is a Grade I listed building. Its belfry stands separate from the church and has its own Grade I listing.

Shobdon is a village and civil parish in Herefordshire, England, about 15 miles north of Hereford, six miles west of Leominster, and 2 miles southwest of the Mortimer's Cross. According to the 2001 census, the parish population was 769, consisting of 386 males and 383 females. The population had increased to 816 by the time of the 2011 census.The parish includes the hamlets of Hanbury Green, Uphampton, Easthampton and Ledicot.

Staunton on Arrow is a village and civil parish in the county of Herefordshire, England. The village is 17 miles (27 km) north-west of Hereford and 8 miles (13 km) to the west of Leominster. Within the parish is the site of the Iron Age hill fort of Wapley Hill.

Eardisland ( URDZ-lənd) is a village and civil parish on the River Arrow, about 5 miles (8 km) west of the market town of Leominster, Herefordshire. The civil parish includes the hamlets of Upper Hardwick, Lower Hardwick and Lower Burton. Eardisland is part of The Black and White Village Trail, which explores the villages of half-timbered, black and white houses to be found in this area of northern Herefordshire. The parish has rolling arable and pastoral farmland and ancient apple and cider apple orchards. The A44 Oxford to Aberystwyth road bypasses the south of Eardisland. (It formerly ran through the village centre, crossing the River Arrow there.) To the east the A4110 runs north/south, a little to the east of the course of the Watling Street Roman road which here, marks the eastern boundary of the parish. The Church of England parish church of St. Mary the Virgin has an early 13th-century nave, two early 14th-century tomb recesses and a 14th-century porch. The architect Henry Curzon substantially renewed the building in 1864. Just north of the church is the overgrown motte of Eardisland Castle, surrounded by a moat. Eardisland has a 17th-century dovecote, two public houses, tea rooms and a restored AA box which is the oldest in England. On 1 May 2010, a community shop was opened on the ground floor of the dovecote, staffed and run by volunteers. Burton Court, about 1 mile (1.6 km) south of Eardisland, includes an early 14th-century hall. Much of the remainder of the house was added in the 18th century. The architect Clough Williams-Ellis added the Tudor Revival front in 1912.

Shobdon Court was an 18th-century English country house in the village of Shobdon, near Leominster, Herefordshire. Although the main house has since been demolished, the service wing and the stable block have been converted to residential use. Shobdon Court was rectangular in plan and sat in parkland on the side of a hill. Built of brick, it was similar in appearance to Clarendon House in London. It was substantially remodelled in the mid 1800s.

Shobdon Priory was a priory in Herefordshire, England at grid reference SO40106284.The church dated from 1140 and was demolished in the 18th century.

The Church of St John is a Church of England parish church at Shobdon in the English county of Herefordshire. Of 14th century origins, the church was completely rebuilt between 1749 and 1752 for John Bateman, 2nd Viscount Bateman, in a Rococo style under the supervision of Bateman's uncle, The Honourable Richard Bateman, a close friend of Horace Walpole, and a member of his Committee of Taste. Simon Jenkins, in his book England's Thousand Best Churches, considers the interior "a complete masterpiece (of) English Rococo," while Brooks and Pevsner describe it as "the finest 18th century church in Herefordshire." It is a Grade I listed building.

Ox House railway station was a station to the southwest of Shobdon, Herefordshire, England, close to Shobdon Aerodrome. Ox House was a private station for Shobdon Court, the home of William Bateman-Hanbury, 2nd Baron Bateman who was the first chairman of the Leominster and Kington Railway.

Marston Halt railway station was a station in Marston, Herefordshire, England. The station was opened in 1856 and closed in 1955. The station was located north east of the village, at the top of Marston Lane.

Burton Court is a Grade II* listed English country manor house in the Parish of Eardisland, southwest of Leominster, Herefordshire, England. The manor dates to at least the 11th century and the current house to the early 14th and 18th century. It lies along the A44 road, about 1 mile (1.6 km) south of Eardisland in the northern part of the hamlet of Lower Burton. It is now run as a Herefordshire wedding and private hire venue. Burton Court featured in Simon Jenkins's book England's Thousand Best Houses.
