Bingley Grammar School

Crossflatts railway station serves the Crossflatts area of Bingley, north of Bradford in West Yorkshire, England. The station is on the Airedale Line, 14.5 miles (23 km) north west of Leeds and 6.5 miles (10 km) north west of Bradford Forster Square. The station, and all trains serving it, are operated by Northern. The station was opened on 17 May 1982 at a cost of £78,000. It was the first of the eighties-era stations on the Airedale Line to be opened and is the only one to be built by British Rail on an entirely new site (the others - such as Saltaire and Frizinghall - had all previously been closed in 1965 as part of the Beeching cuts). It is used heavily during school term time due to its proximity to Bingley Grammar School.

The opening of the Aire Valley Trunk road in 2004 has seen a reduction of 51% of traffic through the village.It is served by Crossflatts railway station on the Airedale Line connecting Skipton with Bradford and Leeds. This small village adjoins Bingley at the famous Five Rise Locks. Crossflatts is home to a number of local businesses, including The Royal Hotel (pub), Ryshworth Social Club, Crossflatts Cricket Club, Stuart Prices' butchers, as well as takeaway establishments, a chemist, a post office, a funeral parlour, a music shop and a church.Crossflatts is also the home of UK Asset Resolution Ltd (UKAR), and Computershare, responsible for administering all remaining old NRAM and Bradford & Bingley mortgages in the UK.

The Old White Horse Inn in Bingley, West Yorkshire, England, is one of the oldest buildings still in use in the town. It was originally constructed as a coaching inn in the mid-seventeenth century, strategically positioned with Ireland Bridge on the one side and the Parish church on the other. The building is an English Grade II listed building and has a significant amount of coaching inn infrastructure surviving including a stable, barn and two coach entrances which are located around an inner courtyard. On each side of the gable are stone lanterns that denote the former owners Order of Knights of St John of Jerusalem. There is evidence that a hostelry has been on the site since 1379.

Church of All Saints is the Anglican parish church in the town of Bingley, West Yorkshire, England. It is one of two Anglican churches in the town, the other being Holy Trinity. All Saints has existed since Norman times and it is set in the oldest part of the town, near to where the River Aire is crossed by Ireland Bridge.

Bingley Five-Rise Locks is a staircase lock on the Leeds and Liverpool Canal at Bingley (grid reference SE107399). As the name implies, a boat passing through the lock is lifted or lowered in five stages.

Bingley Three Rise Locks is a staircase of three locks on the Leeds and Liverpool Canal at Bingley, West Yorkshire, England. The locks are a Grade II* listed building.The locks were designed by John Longbotham and opened in 1774. The stone locks are still operational and underwent major refurbishment including the installation of new lock gates in 2015.

Bingley (population 13,675 - 2001 UK census, 18,294 at the 2011 Census) is a Ward in Bradford Metropolitan District in the county of West Yorkshire, England, named after the town of Bingley around which it is centred. As well as the town of Bingley the ward includes the conurbated villages of Eldwick, Gilstead, the slightly detached village of Micklethwaite and part of Crossflatts (the rest of which is located in Keighley East). The ward also extends to cover a substantial section of the moorland above the town.

Bradford & Bingley plc was a British bank with headquarters in the West Yorkshire town of Bingley. The bank was formed in December 2000 by demutualisation of the Bradford & Bingley Building Society following a vote of the building society's members, who swapped their nominal share of the building society for at least 250 shares of the newly formed bank. In 2008, partly due to the credit crunch, the bank was nationalised and in effect split into two parts; the mortgage book and investment portfolios remained with the now publicly owned Bradford & Bingley plc, and the deposits and branch network (and a licence to use the B&B name for those aspects) was sold to Abbey National, itself owned by the Spanish Santander Group. The branch network was rebranded Santander on 11 January 2010 and the Bradford & Bingley name mainly relates to the nationalised section of the bank. From 2010, the brand has been used under licence for insurance products by BGL Group.

Micklethwaite is a village in the civil parish of Bingley, in the Bradford district, in the county of West Yorkshire, England. The village is separated from Bingley end of Crossflatts by the Leeds and Liverpool Canal. It is part of Bingley ward, and population statistics are accounted for in the ward censuses.
