The Columbus Division of Police Headquarters is the central office of the Columbus Division of Police, of Columbus, Ohio. The building is located in the city's downtown Civic Center. It is the fifth headquarters for the Columbus police department. The eight-story building was designed by Brubaker/Brandt in the postmodern style, and reflects elements of City Hall's design. The building was constructed from 1990 to 1991 on the site of former municipal buildings. It replaced the department's Central Police Station, built in 1930. The new headquarters was lauded at its opening, though it was built over-budget, it had seen issues before opening, and was plagued with problems during its operation, especially insulation problems, for the first several decades of its use.

WCBE (90.5 FM) is a public radio station in Columbus, Ohio that began broadcasting in 1956. The WCBE call sign represents the station's licensee, the Columbus Board of Education (Columbus City Schools). From WCBE.org: "WCBE is a public radio station that exists to serve the cultural, information, and educational needs of Central Ohio and beyond. State Street in downtown Columbus, and then relocated to the historic Fort Hayes educational campus in 1992. The station's tower is located on top of LeVeque Tower in downtown Columbus.

The Michael B. Coleman Government Center is a municipal office building of Columbus, Ohio, in the city's downtown Civic Center. The building, completed in 2018, is named for former mayor Michael Coleman.

The Columbus Firefighters Memorial, or Firefighters' Memorial, is a monument commemorating firefighters who died while serving by Ed Nothaker, installed in Columbus, Ohio's Battelle Riverfront Park, in the United States. It was erected in 1958 and features an eternal flame on top of Greek columns.The memorial was dedicated on April 13, 1958, and rededicated on October 16, 1988. It was surveyed by the Smithsonian Institution's "Save Outdoor Sculpture!" program in 1993.

Columbus City Hall is the city hall of Columbus, Ohio, in the city's downtown Civic Center. It contains the offices of the city's mayor, auditor, and treasurer, and the offices and chambers of Columbus City Council. City Hall was designed in a Neoclassical style by the Allied Architects Association of Columbus. It replaced offices in the Central Market building as well as a former permanent city hall. The new city hall was built from 1926 to 1928, during a period of extensive construction building the city's riverfront civic center. An additional wing was added to City Hall in 1936. Renovations took place in 1949 and 1986, and the building was determined to be eligible for the National Register of Historic Places as part of a historic district in 1988.

The Columbus street circuit was a temporary street circuit located in Columbus, Ohio, which hosted IMSA GT Championship races between 1985 and 1988.

The Joseph P. Kinneary United States Courthouse is a federal courthouse in Columbus, Ohio, in the city's downtown Civic Center. It was formerly known as the U.S. Post Office and Court House. It was designed by Richards, McCarty & Bulford and was completed in 1934. The supervising architect was James A. Wetmore. It was renamed for Joseph P. Kinneary in 1998. It is still in use by the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio.

The Beacon Building is an office building in Downtown Columbus, Ohio. It is located in the Columbus Civic Center area, diagonal to Columbus City Hall. The mid-century modern building was designed by Benham, Richards and Armstrong and completed in 1957. It was first owned by the Beacon Mutual Indemnity Co., and was sold in 1978 to the City of Columbus, which used it for government offices until 2018.

Christopher Columbus, or simply Columbus, is a 1955 sculpture by Edoardo Alfieri, originally installed outside Columbus, Ohio's City Hall, in the United States. The statue was unveiled in 1955, celebrating Christopher Columbus's voyages to the New World. It was removed in July 2020, in light of the explorer's abusive relationship with indigenous Americans.

Gaetz Music House is a historic building in Downtown Columbus, Ohio. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2014.The building was constructed c. 1885 in a simplified Commercial style design, with an unknown architect and builder. The building became known for Charles A. Gaetz's wholesale and instrument repair shop, established in 1911 and operating out of the building beginning in 1919. Gaetz purchased the entire building in December 1931. The business operated past his 1957 death, operating via his son, Lloyd F. Gaetz. The business ceased operations in 1972 with Lloyd's death.Other early tenants included Logan McCormick's art, frame, and photography shop at 49 W. Long, operating until 1930. 51 W. Long housed a grocery store, operated by H.W. O'Neill and later the M.J. Kingry Co., operating until c. 1924. 53 W. Long housed a print and engraving shop owned by F. F. Vance, operating until Gaetz moved into the space in 1919.From 2015 to 2020, the building and its neighbors, including the Ohio Finance Building at 39-47 W. Long St. and Rooming House building at 31-37 W. Long St., were renovated to hold apartment units. The $11 million project, known as Microliving at Long & Front, has small apartment units, ranging from 207 to 735 sq ft. The units are the developer's second microliving project, after the nearby Stoddart Block building was completed. The apartment complex opened in June 2020.

Battelle Riverfront Park is a 4.1-acre (1.7 ha) park in downtown Columbus, Ohio, United States, near Columbus City Hall. The park was established in 1983. It is named after Gordon Battelle and was funded by the Battelle Memorial Institute.
