St Mary's Anglican Girls' School is an independent, Anglican, day and boarding school for girls, located in Karrinyup, a suburb north of Perth. Established in 1921 at West Perth, St Mary's has a non-selective enrolment policy and currently caters for more than 1470 students from Kindergarten to Year 12, including 171 boarders from Years 6 to 12.St Mary's is affiliated with the Association of Heads of Independent Schools of Australia (AHISA), the Junior School Heads Association of Australia (JSHAA), the Association of Independent Schools of Western Australia, the Australian Boarding Schools' Association (ABSA), the Alliance of Girls' Schools Australia (AGSA), and is a member of the Independent Girls' Schools Sports Association (IGSSA). Trigg Island is a small rocky outcrop off the coast of the suburb of Trigg in Perth, Western Australia. It is named after Henry Stirling Trigg, Superintendent of Public Works in the Colony of Western Australia from 1838 to 1851. Trigg Island is a small rocky aeolianite limestone remnant of Pleistocene dunes, better characterised as an outcrop than an island, and as such is typical of the Perth coast. It is sometimes physically joined to the beach by movements of both the sand and the tide. Trigg Island is notorious for its blue hole, located at the south end of the island. In September 1931, four men nearly died when their boat capsized near the blue hole. In May 1947, two brothers died in the blue hole, and later that year in July a nun named Sister Mary Chrysostom, and her would-be rescuer Frederick Charles Floyd, also drowned. A plaque commemorating the deaths of the latter two is stored in the Trigg Island Surf Life Saving Club facilities. Many others have been rescued or died in or near the blue hole since. These events were the main factor in the establishment of the Trigg Island Surf Life Saving Club.The beaches around Trigg Island are patrolled by the Trigg Island Surf Life Saving Club.

Star Swamp Bushland Reserve is a bushland reserve occupying about half of the land area of the suburbs of Watermans Bay and North Beach in the northern suburbs of Perth, Western Australia. The precise origin of the name is unknown, but the earliest known use of the name was on a lease application by J.H.Okely of Wanneroo in 1868.In 1987, the State Government set aside 96 hectares (240 acres) as an A-class reserve, and funding from the Bicentennial Commemorative Program and assistance from local organisations facilitated the establishment of the Star Swamp Heritage Trail within the reserve. Star Swamp contains a history trail that spans a 1.4 km (0.87 mi) walk. The trail contains ten points of interest, each marked with a plaque and sign.Star Swamp has been the site of many bushfires. The most recent occurred on 21 March 2023 and burnt approximately 6.5 hectares of the 96 hectare A-class reserve. The fire was believed to be deliberately lit.

Karrinyup bus station is a Transperth bus station located next to Karrinyup Shopping Centre in Karrinyup, approximately 10 kilometres north of Perth, Western Australia. It has four stands and is served by five Transperth routes operated by Swan Transit. Karrinyup station originally opened in September 1974.The bus station was refurbished in 2007, providing improved seating and accessible ramps to the adjacent shopping centre, and then subsequently upgraded in 2015.In 2020, the bus station temporarily moved to the median strip while redevelopment works were carried out at the shopping centre. The bus station reopened at its original location on 5 September 2021.

The Rendezvous Hotel Perth Scarborough is a high rise beachside hotel in the Perth suburb of Scarborough, Western Australia. Originally known as Observation City, the hotel was constructed in the 1980s by Bond Corporation to accommodate visitors for the 1987 America's Cup, which was held off the coast of Perth. At 70 metres (230 ft) tall, the hotel is the tallest coastal building in Perth.

Scarborough Beach bus station in Western Australia is a Transperth bus station located at the west end of Scarborough Beach Road in Scarborough. It has four stands and is served by 4 Transperth routes operated by Swan Transit. The bus station provides the bus services in Doubleview and Woodlands, and connects to Stirling and Glendalough Station, both part of the Joondalup Line. The bus station opened on 25 June 2017.

Located along the coast of the Indian Ocean, it was named after the English beach resort Scarborough, North Yorkshire. It has a population of about 14,300 people (2011 census), of whom about 25% were born overseas, mostly in the United Kingdom. It has a landmark high-rise hotel, the Rendezvous Hotel Perth Scarborough, originally built as Observation City in 1986 for Alan Bond, in anticipation of a demand for accommodation when the 1987 America's Cup challenge was held at nearby Fremantle. Scarborough Beach was the venue for the Australian Surf Life Saving Championships for the years 2007, 2008, 2009, 2014, 2018 and 2023.

Sunset Coast is the name given to the coastal section of the northern metropolitan area of Perth, the capital city of Western Australia. While the name is not in extensive use locally, with its many white sand beaches Sunset Coast has been a centrepiece of Western Australian tourism planning since the 1990s and is used in interstate and overseas marketing of the region. The Sunset Coast is one of the six tourism precincts in the region of Perth and surrounding areas,: 3  which the Perth Region Tourism Organisation, trading as Destination Perth and funded in part by Tourism Western Australia, was established in 2004 to market.
