Pirton railway station, also known as Kempsey railway station, served the village of Pirton, Worcestershire, England, from 1841 to 1844 on the Birmingham and Gloucester Railway.

Wadborough railway station was located in Wadborough, Worcestershire. It opened in 1841 and closed in January 1965. It was situated to the west on the Bristol to Birmingham rail line; the line remains open and high-speed trains regularly pass through the level crossing called Wadborough. As of July 2015 the crossing now has LED lights.

The village has one bus service, the 382, which runs between Pershore and Worcester, once an hour in both directions.

St Mary Magdalene's Church is a former Anglican church in the grounds of Croome Court, at Croome D'Abitot, Worcestershire, England. It is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade I listed building, and is under the care of The Churches Conservation Trust. The church, which is dedicated to Jesus' companion Mary Magdalene, stands on a hill in Croome Park. Commenting on the church, the architectural historian Nikolaus Pevsner stated it is "one of the most serious of the Early Gothic Revival outside, one of the most elegant inside".The 2015 short war drama film Our Father was partially filmed on location at St Mary Magdalene's Church.

Royal Air Force Defford, or more simply RAF Defford, is a former Royal Air Force station located 1.1 miles (1.8 km) northwest of Defford, Worcestershire, England.

Pirton is a small village in the English county of Worcestershire. The village has been occupied since at least 1086, when Domesday listed the village of Peritone within the hundred of Pershore.Pirton has some uncommon features for a village. The most unusual is an 18th-century folly named Pirton Tower near a lake named Pirton Pool. It is one of the remaining artifices which the Earl of Coventry built to add artistic interest to views from the park at his distant estate, Croome Court. Pirton Tower and some of the other follies became purposed as local picnic houses. The follies were allowed to fall into disrepair. Pirton has a Council-owned wood, beside Pirton Green. Pirton Church has a storied history. It is about half a mile away from "main" Pirton. When the Black Death arrived in Pirton c. 1357, it was tremendously harmful for the villagers. There is a ditch which was a mass grave for those who died because of the illness. The surviving residents had to move to the countryside at the time of the black death. The current Pirton Church is about 500 years old and has been in continuous use. It still conducts services on Sundays or e.g.: Mass. Pirton has a nearby level crossing which used to be called Pirton Sidings due to the sidings that used to be there. Pirton Level Crossing is a highly filmed location for Rail Enthusiasts.

Stoulton or Stoughton is a village and civil parish about 5 miles south west of Worcester, in the Wychavon district, in the county of Worcestershire, England. The parish includes the hamlet of Hawbridge. In 2011 the parish had a population of 453. The parish touches Norton Juxta Kempsey, Whittington, Peopleton, Drakes Broughton and Wadborough and White Ladies Aston. Many houses in the village date from the 17th century. The scientist and cleric William Derham, the first man to accurately measure the speed of sound, was born in Stoulton in 1657.

Besford is a village and civil parish in the Wychavon district of Worcestershire, England. According to the 2001 census it had a population of 147. The village is near Pershore, off the road from Upton-upon-Severn. A historic house, Besford Court (a grade II* listed building), is located in the village. Besford Court was once used as a school known as Besford Court Hospital [1]. The village is reputedly haunted by the ghost of a member of the Seabright family, who appears in a nightshirt.

Croome Court is a mid-18th-century Neo-Palladian mansion surrounded by extensive landscaped parkland at Croome D'Abitot, near Upton-upon-Severn in south Worcestershire, England. The mansion and park were designed by Lancelot "Capability" Brown for the 6th Earl of Coventry, and they were Brown's first landscape design and first major architectural project. Some of the mansion's rooms were designed by Robert Adam. St Mary Magdalene's Church, Croome D'Abitot that sits within the grounds of the park is now owned and cared for by the Churches Conservation Trust. The mansion house is owned by Croome Heritage Trust and leased to the National Trust, which operates it as a tourist attraction. The National Trust owns the surrounding parkland, which is also open to the public.

Horewell Forest was a royal forest, i. e. a royal game preserve. In the west, it bordered the river Severn, and Strensham in the south and extended to Pershore. Parts of it ceased to belong to the royal forest in 1229.
