Bertiolo

Villa Manin (Friulian: Vile Manin) is a Venetian villa located in the comune of Passariano in Codroipo, Friuli Venezia Giulia, in northeastern Italy. It was the private, country residence of the last Doge of Venice, Lodovico Manin. Napoleon Bonaparte and Joséphine de Beauharnais lived there for about two months in 1797. Many negotiations for the Treaty of Campoformio between Napoleonic France and the Habsburg Austria were conducted here and the treaty was signed at the Villa on 17 October 1797. The Villa Manin was restored in the mid and late 1960s after it, together with about 18 acres of parkland, was sold to the Region of Venzia Friuli Giulia by the Manin family for a nominal sum. Since then, it has hosted numerous popular music concerts by major international acts and was the site of three episodes of Jeux sans frontières. It was used as a contemporary art centre and museum for several years and hosted major international exhibitions, and it now also houses currently the Roberto Capucci Foundation’s collection.

The Frecce Tricolori (Italian: [ˈfrettʃe trikoˈloːri]; lit. 'Tricolour Arrows'), officially known as the 313° Gruppo Addestramento Acrobatico, Pattuglia Acrobatica Nazionale (PAN) Frecce Tricolori ("313th Acrobatic Training Group, National Aerobatic Team (PAN) Frecce Tricolori"), is the aerobatic demonstration team of the Italian Air Force. Based at Rivolto Air Base, province of Udine, it was created on 1 March 1961 as a permanent group for the training of Air Force pilots in air acrobatics.The Tricolour Arrows replaced unofficial teams that had been sponsored by various commands starting in the early 1930s. The team flies the Aermacchi MB-339-A/PAN, a two-seat fighter-trainer craft capable of 898 km/h at sea level. With ten aircraft, nine in close formation and a soloist, they are the world's largest acrobatics patrol, and their flight schedule, comprising about twenty acrobatics and about half an hour, makes them the most famous in the world. It is one of national symbols of Italy. On 28 August 1988 the Frecce Tricolori caused the Ramstein air show disaster, one of the worst air show disasters in history, in which 67 spectators and three pilots died and 346 spectators sustained serious injuries.

Rivolto Air Base (IATA: none, ICAO: LIPI) is an Italian Air Force (Aeronautica Militare) air base located in Codroipo, province of Udine (Italy). It is the home base of the Frecce Tricolori aerobatic display team. Besides a military airport it is an important air force Meteorological Service station. Rivolto Air Base was founded after the Italian Royal Decree N. 2207 of 1923, authorised the establishment of new airports and expropriate land for their construction.

Rivignano was a comune (municipality) in the Province of Udine in the Italian region Friuli Venezia Giulia, located about 70 kilometres (43 mi) northwest of Trieste and about 25 kilometres (16 mi) southwest of Udine. Since January 1, 2014 Rivignano has been merged with Teor, forming a new municipality called Rivignano Teor.

Rivignano Teor (Friulian: Rivignan Teôr) is a comune (municipality) in the Regional decentralization entity of Udine in the Italian region of Friuli Venezia Giulia. It was established on 1 January 2014 by the merger of the municipalities of Rivignano and Teor.

Varmo (Friulian: Vildivar) is a comune (municipality) in the Regional decentralization entity of Udine in the Italian region of Friuli Venezia Giulia, located about 70 kilometres (43 mi) northwest of Trieste and about 30 kilometres (19 mi) southwest of Udine. Varmo borders the following municipalities: Bertiolo, Camino al Tagliamento, Codroipo, Morsano al Tagliamento, Rivignano, Ronchis, San Michele al Tagliamento. The Municipality of Varmo includes 9 towns, and various localities: the main town of Varmo, Santa Marizza (with Levata), Gradiscutta, Belgrado (with Casali di Belgrado), Roveredo, Romans, Canussio (with Isola Maura, beyond the Tagliamento River), Madrisio (with Casenove) and Cornazzai (with Santa Marizzutta, Casali Pepe and S. P. Ponte di Madrisio).

Codroipo (Italian: Stazione di Codroipo) is a railway station serving the town of Codroipo, in the region of Friuli Venezia Giulia, northern Italy. The station opened on 21 July 1860 and is located on the Venice–Udine railway. The train services are operated by Trenitalia.

Teor was a comune (municipality) in the Province of Udine in the Italian region Friuli Venezia Giulia, located about 60 kilometres (37 mi) northwest of Trieste and about 30 kilometres (19 mi) southwest of Udine. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,020 and an area of 16.9 square kilometres (6.5 sq mi).Teor bordered the following municipalities: Palazzolo dello Stella, Pocenia, Rivignano, Ronchis. Since January 1, 2014 Teor has been merged with Rivignano, forming a new municipality called Rivignano Teor.

Camino al Tagliamento (Friulian: Cjamin dal Tiliment) is a comune (municipality) in the Regional decentralization entity of Udine in the Italian region of Friuli Venezia Giulia, located about 70 kilometres (43 mi) northwest of Trieste and about 30 kilometres (19 mi) southwest of Udine. Camino al Tagliamento borders the following municipalities: Codroipo, Morsano al Tagliamento, San Vito al Tagliamento, Varmo.

Pocenia (Friulian: Pucinie) is a comune (municipality) in the Regional decentralization entity of Udine in the Italian region of Friuli Venezia Giulia, located about 60 kilometres (37 mi) northwest of Trieste and about 30 kilometres (19 mi) southwest of Udine. Pocenia borders the following municipalities: Castions di Strada, Muzzana del Turgnano, Palazzolo dello Stella, Rivignano Teor, Talmassons.

Mereto di Tomba (Friulian: Merêt di Tombe) is a comune (municipality) in the Regional decentralization entity of Udine in the Italian region of Friuli Venezia Giulia, located about 80 kilometres (50 mi) northwest of Trieste and about 15 kilometres (9 mi) west of Udine. Mereto di Tomba borders the following municipalities: Basiliano, Codroipo, Coseano, Fagagna, San Vito di Fagagna, Sedegliano and Pasian di Prato.

Mortegliano (Friulian: Mortean) is a comune (municipality) in the Regional decentralization entity of Udine in the Italian region of Friuli-Venezia Giulia, located about 60 km northwest of Trieste and about 14 km southwest of Udine. Mortegliano borders the following municipalities: Bicinicco, Castions di Strada, Lestizza, Pavia di Udine, Pozzuolo del Friuli, Talmassons. The tallest campanile, or free-standing bell tower, in the world at 113.2 metres (371 ft) high, is the Mortegliano Bell Tower.
