Casaloldo (Upper Mantovano: Casalolt) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Mantua in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 110 kilometres (68 mi) east of Milan and about 25 kilometres (16 mi) northwest of Mantua. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,436 and an area of 16.8 square kilometres (6.5 mi2). Casaloldo borders the following municipalities: Asola, Castel Goffredo, Ceresara, Piubega.

The Battle of Casaloldo was fought on 10 May 1509 at Casaloldo (Lombardy) between the armies of the Marquisate of Mantua and that of Republic of Venice, an episode of the War of the League of Cambrai.

Piubega (Upper Mantovano: Piübega) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Mantua in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 110 kilometres (68 mi) east of Milan and about 20 kilometres (12 mi) northwest of Mantua. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,722 and an area of 16.4 square kilometres (6.3 mi2). Piubega borders the following municipalities: Asola, Casaloldo, Ceresara, Gazoldo degli Ippoliti, Mariana Mantovana, Redondesco.

Asola (Upper Mantovano: Àsula) is a comune in the province of Mantua, Lombardy (northern Italy). It received the honorary title of city with a presidential decree of October 23, 1951. In 1516, when it was part of the Republic of Venice, it was unsuccessfully besieged by the troops of the Austrian Maximilian I. The event is portrayed in a painting by Tintoretto, The Siege of Asola. The local civic museum is titled Museo Civico Goffredo Bellini.

The Chiese, also known in the Province of Brescia as the Clisi, is a 160-kilometre (99 mi) Italian river that is the principal immisary and sole emissary of the sub-alpine lake Lago d’Idro (Lake Idro), and is a left tributary of the Oglio. The river rises from the Adamello in Trentino and runs through the Val di Fumo and the Val di Daone, forming the reservoirs of Lago di Malga Bissina and Lago di Malga Boazzo. At Pieve di Bono it enters the lower valleys of Giudicarie, receiving the waters of the torrente Adanà. Further south it flows through the Lago d'Idro near Baitoni before running down into Lombardy and the Province of Brescia. After leaving the lake, the river runs through the Val Sabbia as far as Roè Volciano. Here it enters the pianura padana, and flows south through Gavardo, Calcinato, Montichiari, Carpenedolo and Acquafredda, enters the Province of Mantua at Asola, before flowing into the Oglio on its left bank in the valley of Acquanegra sul Chiese.

Castel Goffredo Town Hall (also called Palazzo della Ragione) and Loggia della Magnifica Comunità are located in Piazza Mazzini in Castel Goffredo, in the Province of Mantua (Italy). It is the seat of the municipality.

Palazzo Gonzaga-Acerbi is a historic palace in Castel Goffredo in the Province of Mantua in Italy. It forms the whole north front of Piazza Mazzini in the city centre. The original construction of a castle residence, made up of two distinct buildings not connected to each other, subject to various additions and modifications, is set between the Civic Tower to the west and the Torrazzo to the east and dates back to about 1350. It was owned by the municipality (domus comunis), which carried out expansion and refurbishment works and was the seat of the offices of the Gonzaga vicar, who instead lived in the Torrazzo annex, communicating with the palace. It was used by Aloisio Gonzaga to host his court from 1511 to 1549 and to host a visit Charles V, Holy Roman Emperor in 1543. After the aggregation to the Duchy of Mantua in 1603, no Gonzaga lived in the palace anymore. After the fall of the Gonzaga dynasty, from 1707 it passed under the Austrian government. It remained uninhabited and unusable for a long time until 1756, when the Austrian state property sold it to the municipality of Castel Goffredo. The municipality on 13 April 1776 gave it to Colonel Giacomo Acerbi, landowner, who modified the original medieval appearance of the building. It was the birthplace of Giovanni Acerbi, who on 27–29 April 1862 used it to host Garibaldi. Inside there is a loggia supported by marble columns with finely frescoed grotesque faces (perhaps the school of Giulio Romano). A staircase, with a frescoed vault, leads to the main floor. Aloisio Gonzaga is also responsible for the creation of the internal garden, now full of centuries-old trees, the white marble fountain and the pergola of precious grapes.

The Civic Tower (Italian: Torre Civica) (or Clock Tower, Torre di Castelvecchio) is a historic building in the town of Castel Goffredo, in the province of Mantua, Italy. The structure is located in Piazza Mazzini, in the historic city center, or in the part that bordered the ancient fortress of Castelvecchio (castellum vetus). On its right side was the Palazzo del Vicario, now incorporated into the Palazzo Gonzaga-Acerbi. Located on the left side of the Palazzo Gonzaga-Acerbi and the Palazzo della Ragione, it has witnessed for centuries the political center of the city and is popularly considered the symbol of Castel Goffredo.

Casalmoro (Upper Mantovano: Casalmor) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Mantua in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 100 kilometres (62 mi) east of Milan and about 35 kilometres (22 mi) northwest of Mantua. As of 1 January 2007, it had a population of 2,154 and an area of 13.9 square kilometres (5.4 mi2). Casalmoro is the site of the most extensive settlement area known from the Late Bronze Age in Italy. It emerged during the twelfth century BC following the decline of the Terramare culture. Casalmoro borders the following municipalities: Acquafredda, Asola, Castel Goffredo, Remedello.

Casalromano (Upper Mantovano: Casarima) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Mantua in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 100 kilometres (62 mi) southeast of Milan and about 35 kilometres (22 mi) west of Mantua. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,568 and an area of 11.9 square kilometres (4.6 mi2). The municipality of Casalromano contains the frazione (subdivision) Fontanella Grazioli. Casalromano borders the following municipalities: Asola, Canneto sull'Oglio, Fiesse, Isola Dovarese, Volongo.
