Palosco

The Cherio (Lombard: Chere) is a river of the Province of Bergamo in Lombardy in Italy. The river runs for 32 kilometers (20 mi) and has a basin area of 161 square kilometers (62 sq mi). Its source is at 1,276 meters (4,186 ft) above sea level at Monte Torrezzo near Lake Endine. From there, it flows into the Oglio at Palosco. The main tributary is the Tadone River on its right bank. The valley of the river is known as the Val Cavallina (lit. "Valley of the Little Horse"; Lombard: Al Caàlina). The river flows past the communes of Endine Gaiano, Monasterolo del Castello, Casazza, Vigano San Martino, Grone, Borgo di Terzo, Berzo San Fermo, Luzzana, Entratico, Trescore Balneario, Zandobbio, Gorlago, Carobbio degli Angeli, Bolgare, Calcinate, Mornico al Serio and Palosco.

As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 4,598 and an area of 8.1 square kilometres (3.1 sq mi).Telgate borders the following municipalities: Bolgare, Chiuduno, Grumello del Monte, Palazzolo sull'Oglio, Palosco. The main church is San Giovanni Battista.

Palazzolo sull'Oglio (Brescian and Bergamasque: Palasöl; locally Palahöl) is a city and comune in the Province of Brescia, in the region of Lombardy in northern Italy. It is located south of Lake Iseo, bordering the Province of Bergamo, and has a population of 20,208. It is the fifth largest city in the Province, after Brescia, Desenzano del Garda, Montichiari and Lumezzane.

Grumello del Monte (Bergamasque: Grömèl del Mùt) is a comune (municipality) of about 7,400 inhabitants in the province of Bergamo in the Italian region of Lombardy, located about 60 kilometres (37 mi) northeast of Milan and about 15 kilometres (9 mi) southeast of Bergamo. Grumello del Monte borders the following municipalities: Carobbio degli Angeli, Castelli Calepio, Chiuduno, Gandosso, Palazzolo sull'Oglio, Telgate.

Cividino (Siidì in bergamasque is part of the Castelli Calepio community, in the Province of Bergamo. It has nearly 4000 inhabitants.

Martinengo (Bergamasque: Martinèngh) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Bergamo in the Italian region of Lombardy, located about 50 kilometres (31 mi) east of Milan and about 15 kilometres (9 mi) southeast of Bergamo. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 9,138 and an area of 21.7 square kilometres (8.4 sq mi).The municipality of Martinengo contains the frazione (subdivision) Cortenuova di Sopra. Martinengo borders the municipalities of Cividate al Piano, Cologno al Serio, Cortenuova, Ghisalba, Morengo, Mornico al Serio, Palosco, and Romano di Lombardia. The municipality is home to the mother house of the Congregation of the Holy Family of Bergamo.

Chiuduno (Bergamasque: Ciüdü) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Bergamo, in Italian region of Lombardy; Chiuduno is located about 60 kilometres (37 mi) northeast of Milan and about 15 kilometres (9 mi) southeast of Bergamo, midway between the Bergamo plain and the Valcalepio. Chiuduno borders the following municipalities: Bolgare, Carobbio degli Angeli, Grumello del Monte, Telgate.

Cortenuova (also Cortenova; Bergamasque: Cor-nöa) is a town and comune in the province of Bergamo, Lombardy (northern Italy). The battle of Cortenuova was fought here in 1237.
