Trezzo sull'Adda (Milanese: Trezz [ˈtrɛts]) is a comune (municipality) in the Metropolitan City of Milan in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 30 kilometres (19 mi) northeast of Milan on the Adda River. The Naviglio Martesana canal starts from the Adda in Trezzo's territory. Trezzo sull'Adda borders the following municipalities: Cornate d'Adda, Bottanuco, Capriate San Gervasio, Busnago, Grezzago, Vaprio d'Adda. Trezzo received the honorary title of city with a presidential decree on 8 July 2008.
