As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 8,209 and an area of 10.0 km².The municipality of Inverigo contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Cremnago, Villa Romanò, and Romanò. Inverigo borders the following municipalities: Alzate Brianza, Arosio, Brenna, Briosco, Carugo, Giussano, Lambrugo, Lurago d'Erba, Nibionno, Veduggio con Colzano. Outside the town is the eclectic structure of Villa La Rotonda.

The Basilica di San Vincenzo is a church in Galliano, a frazione of Cantù, in Lombardy, northern Italy. An example of local Romanesque architecture, it was founded in 1007. The complex includes also a baptistry, dedicated to St. John the Baptist.

The main attractions of Montorfano are its own very small lake and the Circolo Golf Villa d'Este, one of the main Italian golf courses.

Arosio is a valuable town in Brianza a geographical area at the foot of the Alps, and is a part of the Parco della Valle del Lambro. It is crossed by two important roads named Nuova Vallassina and Novedratese The town hosted the Institute for Invalids where Don Carlo Gnocchi founded the Federation for Mutilated Children, in 1952 began the Juvenile Foundation, today known as the Don Carlo Gnocchi – ONLUS Foundation. The bird observatory Osservatorio Ornitologico di Arosio was established in 1710. It has a museum.

Lake Alserio is an Italian lake located in the Province of Como, Brianza, Lombardy. On its shores lie the communes of Erba, Albavilla, Alserio and Monguzzo. The lake falls within the Parco regionale della Valle del Lambro, the regional park of the valley of the Lambro. Along its eastern shore is located a nature reserve known as the “Riva orientale del Lago di Alserio.”
