San Antonio Abad, Cartagena

Campo de Cartagena is a natural region (comarca) located in the Region of Murcia, in Spain. For administrative purposes, it is also known, as Comarca del Campo de Cartagena or Comarca de Cartagena. It is located in the southeast of the Iberian Peninsula, forming a plain which extends from the Sierra de Carrascoy to the Mediterranean. The capital city is Cartagena, the most important Naval Base of the Spanish Navy in the Mediterranean Sea. The comarca contains 393,598 inhabitants (2019) in an area of 1,481.8 km², making up the metropolitan area of Cartagena, a center for tourism, culture, industry and nature, with more than 18,500 protected hectares, among places like the Calblanque, Monte de las Cenizas y Peña del Águila Natural Park; the Sierra de la Muela, Cabo Tiñoso and Roldán Natural Park; Salinas y Arenales de San Pedro del Pinatar or Islas e Islotes del Litoral Mediterráneo (Islands and Islets of the Mediterranean Shore), among others. Beside those places, it must be added much of the marine environment, highlighting the Mar Menor, the Marine Reserve of Cabo de Palos e Islas Hormigas, and the Cape Tiñoso surroundings.

The Municipal Archaeological Museum of Cartagena is an institution dedicated to the conservation, study, and exhibition of archaeological artifacts related to the municipality of Cartagena in the Region of Murcia, Spain. It is part of the Regional Network of Museums of Murcia.

Estadio Cartagonova is a multi-purpose stadium in Cartagena, Spain. It is currently used mostly for football matches and hosts the home matches of Segunda División club, FC Cartagena. The capacity of the stadium is 15,105 spectators.

The Regional Assembly of Murcia (Spanish: Asamblea Regional de Murcia) is the autonomous parliament of the Region of Murcia, one of the autonomous communities of Spain. The unicameral assembly, which contained 45 elected legislative seats, is located in the Murcian city of Cartagena, Spain. This chamber functions include designating the President of Murcia, legislating on areas that are of autonomical jurisdiction and approving the community's budgets. The Assembly of Murcia also designates a number of representatives to represent Murcia in the Spanish Senate, allocated by population.

The Basilica of Nuestra Señora de la Caridad stands as one of the most significant churches in Cartagena, Spain, due to its dedication to the city's patron, Nuestra Señora de la Caridad. The interior features a prominent dome reminiscent of the Pantheon of Agrippa in Rome. Additionally, the basilica houses several exceptional sculptures crafted by the renowned Murcian sculptor Francisco Salzillo and his workshop.

El Plan is a district of the Spanish municipality Cartagena. It is located in the east of the western half of the municipality, has an area of 13.165 km2, and was inhabited by 36,080 people in 2020.The localities of the district are La Guía, which is in the north-west and is home to 122 people; Polígono de Santa Ana, where 7154 live; El Plan, which is inhabited by 220 people; Los Gabatos, which is placed in the south-western quarter and has a population of 5626, Barriada Hispanoamérica, which is also located in the south-western quarter and is home to 3865 people; Los Dolores, which is placed in the southern half and is inhabited by 7751 people; Urbanización Castillitos, which is located in the south and has a population of 1384 people; Los Barreros, which is also placed in the south and is home to 7030 people and Barriada Cuatro Santos, which is placed in the south-east end and is inhabited by 2573 people.The district is in an urban continuity with the main city and the northern neighbourhoods of San Antonio Abad district.

The Punic wall of Cartagena (Spanish: Muralla púnica de Cartagena) is an archaeological site from the 3rd century BC in which can be seen the first defensive wall of Cartagena, built by the Carthaginians. This is an important site because it is one of the few remains of Carthaginian civilization in Spain, and the walls bear witness to one of the most important events of Ancient history in the Mediterranean Sea: the Second Punic War.

The Palacio de Aguirre in Cartagena, Spain, is a modernist building designed by architect Víctor Beltrí. After Beltri's successful completion of the Casa Cervantes, mining entrepreneur Camilo Aguirre had commissioned the architect in 1898 to construct this palace, completed in 1901. Currently, it serves as the headquarters of the Region of Murcia in Cartagena and is also a part of the MURAM (Regional Museum of Modern Art), inaugurated in 2009.

It is one of the oldest naval bases in Spain, having been created in the 18th century. Located in the southeast of the Iberian Peninsula, it is the main Spanish base in the Mediterranean Sea.

The Church of Our Lady of Grace (Spanish, Santa María de Gracia) is a Catholic church located in the old town of the Spanish city of Cartagena (in the Region of Murcia), and is the nerve center of the Cartagena's Semana Santa processions during Holy Week.

Cartagena railway station is the main railway station in the Spanish city of Cartagena in the Region of Murcia. It is the terminus of the Chinchilla–Cartagena railway, and the current station building opened in 1903.

Despeñaperros Castle, also known as San José Castle, is a castle built in the 11th century in the historic center of Cartagena, Murcia Region in Spain. It was declared a cultural site on 7 August 1997. The walls are composed of masonry and generally flat. The interior of the fortification is divided in two perimeters, the lower with rooms for the occupants and a water reservoir, and an upper space occupied by the cannons, and which has lost gunships.
