Primrose Hill Tunnel

The Holborn Division was one of four divisions of the Hundred of Ossulstone, in the county of Middlesex, England. The other divisions were named Finsbury, Kensington and Tower. The area was to the north of the liberty of Westminster, and was included entirely within the County of London on its creation in 1889. It gave its name to the Metropolitan Borough of Holborn created in 1900. The area is now covered by the London Borough of Camden and the northern section of the City of Westminster. In 1829 the Holborn Division contained the following "parishes, townships, precincts and places": The combined parishes of St Giles in the Fields and St George Bloomsbury The combined parishes of St Andrew Holborn Above the Bars with St George the Martyr The liberty of Saffron Hill, Hatton Garden, Ely Rents and Ely Place The liberty of the Rolls The parish of St Pancras The parish of St John, Hampstead The parish of St Marylebone The parish of Paddington The precinct of the Savoy

The UCL Academy is a secondary school located in Swiss Cottage in the London borough of Camden, London, United Kingdom and sponsored by University College London (UCL). It opened in September 2012 with 180 students in Year 7 and recently reached full capacity as of September 2017.

St. Mary's Town and Country School was an independent, non-denominational, co-educational progressive day and boarding school, founded in Belsize Park, London in 1937. It closed at the end of 1982. The school was owned and run by Mrs Elisabeth Paul PhD (née Selver), assisted by her husband Henry Paul, Elisabeth Paul's father David was a former rabbi in Darmstadt, Heinz Paul was a German Protestant. Both emigrated in 1936 from Berlin to London where in 1937 they bought the school, originally called St. Mary's School, at 1 Belsize Avenue. The school curriculum was biased toward the learning of languages and the arts from an early age, and the pupils, aged 4 to 18 years, were primarily the children of artists, musicians, writers, film producers and actors.

Eton Avenue is a street in the Belsize Park area of Hampstead in North London. Located in the London Borough of Camden, it runs eastward from Swiss Cottage tube station to a junction with England's Lane and Belsize Park Gardens by The Washington pub. Built in the late Victorian era by William Willett it features redbrick houses with terracotta and shaped gables, in contrast to the earlier white stucco Italianate style that dominates in the streets slightly to the north on the old Belsize House estate. Construction started around 1886. The street was laid out on the former Eton College estate, after which it takes it name. The western end is pedestrianised outside Hampstead Theatre and hosts the Swiss Cottage Market. The nearby Embassy Theatre uses the site of the former Hampstead Conservatoire. Many buildings in the street are now listed. Amongst them is the Grade II-listed Belsize Fire Station designed by Charles Winmill and built between 1912 and 1915.

Chalcots Estate is a council housing estate on Adelaide Road and Fellows Road in Swiss Cottage in the London Borough of Camden. It was designed by Dennis Lennon and Partners. The Chalcots Estate was built on land owned by Eton College, which is reflected in the names of the individual buildings. The Estate comprises five high-rise tower blocks with a total of 711 or 717 flats, in four identical 23-storey towers (Taplow, Burnham, Bray, and Dorney), and one smaller 19-storey block (Blashford). The blocks were built in two stages, with approvals being given in 1965 and 1966, and construction in 1967 and 1968.In 2012, there was a fire in the estate's Taplow Block, where the fire-resistant rock-wool insulation and fire-resistant sealant between floors meant that the fire was contained.

Hereward House School (), also known as HHS, is an Independent Association of Prep Schools (IAPS) independent preparatory school for boys aged 4 to 13, located in Hampstead, London on 14 Strathray Gardens, near Swiss Cottage and Finchley Road. It prepares boys for London day schools as well as London boarding schools (including City of London, Westminster, Mill Hill and Highgate).

Fellows Road is a two-lane road in the London Borough of Camden, just north of Central London. It is on the Eton College estate, a series of roads and houses built to replace the area destroyed in World War II, on land owned by Eton College. The road was originally built in 1873 and finished between 1874 and 1894, and named after the college's fellows.Between Fellows Road and the parallel Adelaide Road is the Chalcots housing estate, which has four tower blocks: Dorney, Bray, Burnham and Taplow (all named after places near Eton). Entrances to the road can be accessed via Merton Rise, King's College Road, Winchester Road and Primrose Hill Road. The road also has a number of small closes, including Brocas Close, Tobin Close, Huson Close, Briary Close and Hornby Close.

The Hampstead Figure is an abstract bronze sculpture by F. E. McWilliam. It was commissioned by Basil Spence and was completed in 1964 for the new Hampstead Civic Centre. It was moved in 2019 to its present location on the Adelaide Road side of the Swiss Cottage Library.The sculpture represents a reclining female figure in abstract form in bronze. It is sited on a plinth. It is inscribed "The Hampstead Figure, 1964" and signed by McWilliam.The National Heritage List for England listing describes it as forming a "close and complementary grouping" with the civic buildings, which include the Swiss Cottage Library.The Hampstead Figure was listed at Grade II on the National Heritage List for England in August 1999.

The Hall School is an independent boys' preparatory school in Belsize Park, Hampstead, north London, currently teaching boys from age 4 to age 13.

Avenue Road is a street in the Swiss Cottage and St John's Wood districts of London known for having some of the highest home property prices in the United Kingdom. The street is popular with buyers who have replaced older houses with large mansions.

Swiss Cottage is an area of Hampstead in the London Borough of Camden, England. It is centred on the junction of Avenue Road and Finchley Road and includes Swiss Cottage tube station. Swiss Cottage lies 3.25 miles (5.23 km) north-northwest of Charing Cross. The area was named after a public house in the centre of it, known as "Ye Olde Swiss Cottage".

South Hampstead is part of the London Borough of Camden in inner north London. It is commonly defined as the area between West End Lane in the west, the Chiltern Main Line (south), Broadhurst Gardens north and north-west followed by a non-road line demarcating the south slopes of Hampstead village, west of Belsize Park, and north and west of the usually narrowly defined Swiss Cottage neighbourhood. It takes in some of Fitzjohns Avenue leading up to "the village" (of Hampstead), but the exact amount is an arbitrary measure.
