Dorset Park is a neighbourhood in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is located in the western part of the district of Scarborough. The neighbourhood is bordered by Highway 401 to the north, Midland Avenue to the east, Lawrence Avenue to the south, and Birchmount Road to the west. Kennedy Road runs along the neighbourhood's centre north and south and Ellesmere Road runs along the centre east and west. The area south of Lawrence Avenue, north of the hydro corridor, is known as McGregor Park and is often included as part of Dorset Park. The business district of Scarborough is carried right through the heart of Dorset Park along Kennedy Road from Highway 401 to Lawrence Avenue. The business district along Kennedy Road is a 3.5 kilometre stretch of the road with nothing but stores, businesses and high rise buildings. Kennedy Commons, a large strip mall, is located on Kennedy Road, between Highway 401 and Ellesmere Road.

Winston Churchill Collegiate Institute (Winston Churchill CI, WCCI, Churchill) is a public high school in the Dorset Park neighbourhood of Scarborough, Toronto, Ontario, Canada and is owned and operated by the Toronto District School Board (and the former Scarborough Board of Education prior to merger.) The school was named after Winston Churchill, the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom from 1940 to 1945 and 1951 to 1955. Although the language of instruction is English, 59 percent of the students do not use English as their primary language, and 26 percent have resided in Canada less than five years. In Spring 2007, there were 554 male students and 467 female students. Since then, the enrollment sits below 1000 with 644 students. The online high school is inspected by the Ontario Ministry of Education (BSID # 886520) and offers credit courses students may complete towards an Ontario Secondary School Diploma. The tutoring centre offers both traditional tutoring and Maximize Your Success programs offered via seminars/webinars, workshops, academic programs, and test preparation classes.

Ellesmere is a rapid transit station on Line 3 Scarborough of the Toronto subway in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is located at Ellesmere Road, between Kennedy Road and Midland Avenue.Ellesmere is the least-used station on the entire TTC network. On average, only 1,850 passengers boarded trains here each day in 2006–2007 and only 1,678 in 2007–2008. Part of the reason for this is that there are no bus bays or at least a direct connection to any bus stop at the station; passengers would have to walk to the nearest bus stop on Ellesmere Road.In February 2021, the TTC recommended the closure of Line 3 in 2023 and its replacement by bus service until the completion of Scarborough extension of Line 2 Bloor–Danforth. This closure would also include this station.

Lawrence–Kennedy GO Station (also known as Lawrence East GO Station) was a planned GO Transit train station to be built by Metrolinx under Lawrence Avenue in Toronto on the site of the existing Lawrence East station. Parking, a kiss and ride area, a bus loop, and pedestrian access from the Lawrence Avenue overpass will be provided. It was initially proposed as part of SmartTrack but was removed from the plan in January 2021.

The station is located underneath the elevated portion of Lawrence Avenue East, in the Midland Avenue and Kennedy Road corridor. It is the third-busiest station on Line 3, after Kennedy and Scarborough Centre. In February 2021, the TTC recommended the closure of Line 3 in 2023 and its replacement by bus service until the completion of Scarborough extension of Line 2 Bloor–Danforth. After the closure of this station, a new Lawrence East station would be built along the planned Line 2 extension on the southwest corner of Lawrence Avenue East and McCowan Road.

Wexford is a neighbourhood in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is located in the eastern part of the city, on the western end of the district of Scarborough, spanning Lawrence Avenue East between Victoria Park Avenue and Birchmount Road. There are many persons of Greek heritage in this neighbourhood. The Wexford Heights Business Improvement Area boasts 245 members and hosts an annual street festival on Lawrence.

Maryvale is a neighbourhood in the Scarborough section of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is located on the edge of Scarborough with its western border being Victoria Park Avenue. To the north it is bordered by Highway 401, to the east by Warden and to the south by railroad tracks.

Wexford Collegiate School for the Arts (commonly known as Wexford Collegiate, WCSA, Wexford CSA, Wexford or "Wex" for short), formerly and still known as Wexford Collegiate Institute (WCI) (initially known as Northwest Collegiate Institute) is a public high school in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Located in the former suburb of Scarborough, it is run and organized by the Toronto District School Board. The school officially opened to students in September 1965 by the Scarborough Board of Education. It was renamed Wexford Collegiate School for the Arts in 2006 in recognition of its specialized arts programs.The school is located in the Wexford neighborhood of Scarborough, north of the intersection of Lawrence Avenue and Pharmacy Avenue. The motto for the school is Palman Qui Meruit Ferat which means "Let him bear the palm who has deserved it".
