Tours Sisters is the name of a skyscraper project located in Courbevoie in the business district of La Défense (Hauts-de-Seine, France), consisting of a 229-metre (751 ft) office tower and a hotel 131 metres (430 ft) high connected by a walkway. Construction should begin in 2022, with completion scheduled for 2025. This new project, developed by Unibail-Rodamco and whose architect is Christian de Portzamparc, replaces that of the Phare Tower.

La Défense (French pronunciation: ​[la defɑ̃s]) is a station of the Transilien (Réseau Saint-Lazare) suburban rail lines, RER commuter rail network, Paris Métro, as well as a stop of the Île-de-France tram network. In the future, Paris Metro Line 15 of Grand Paris Express will pass through here, making it a huge railway hub. It is underneath the Grande Arche building in La Défense, the business district just west of Paris. The station is the western terminus of Métro Line 1 and connects the RER A line to the Métro Line 1 station La Défense–Grande Arche since 1992, the Line 2 tramway since 1994 and SNCF (Transilien) train station. It is also attached to a major shopping centre. There are over 25 million entries and exits each year. A temporary special SNCF service began in April 1959 (1959-04) to serve the newly-built Centre of New Industries and Technologies (CNIT); the RER entered service on 19 January 1970 (1970-01-19).Highlights on the surface nearby include the monumental Grande Arche, skyscrapers that host the headquarters of important French and foreign companies, and works of urban art such as Le Pouce by César Baldaccini. From the central esplanade the Arc de Triomphe can be seen further down the Axe historique. Until May 2004, this part of La Défense hosted an information centre of the European Union managed by the European Parliament. Like the district it serves, the station takes its name from the 19th-century statue La Défense de Paris, commemorating the Franco-Prussian War.

The Centre of New Industries and Technologies (French: Centre des nouvelles industries et technologies, abbreviated CNIT), located in Puteaux, France, is the first building ever to be developed in La Défense, west of Paris, France. It functions as a convention centre, though it also houses shops and offices such as Fnac (a media and electronics retailer found throughout France), ESSEC Business School campus for executive education, as well as a Hilton hotel.Its characteristic shape is due to the triangular plot it occupies, replacing the old Zodiac factories, on the territory of Puteaux. Opened in 1958, the CNIT underwent two restructurings, in 1988 and 2009. It is managed by the company Viparis.

The Tour Sans Fins (“Endless Tower”) was a tower planned in La Défense that has since been cancelled. The spelling Tour Sans Fins may, to a native French-speaker, sound like a grammatical mistake as it would normally be written Tour Sans Fin without the ‘s’ at the end of fins. However, the idea was that this tower had no ends, even if one looked up or down at it, hence “ends” and not “end”.

La Grande Arche de la Défense (French: [la ɡʁɑ̃d aʁʃ də la defɑ̃s]; "The Great Arch of the Defense"), originally called La Grande Arche de la Fraternité (French: [fʁatɛʁnite]; "Fraternity"), is a monument and building in the business district of La Défense and in the commune of Puteaux, to the west of Paris, France. It is usually known as the Arche de la Défense or simply as La Grande Arche. A 110-metre-high (360 ft) cube, La Grande Arche is part of the perspective from the Louvre to Arc de Triomphe, and was one of the Grands Projets of François Mitterrand. The distance from La Grande Arche to Arc de Triomphe is 4 km (2+1⁄2 miles).

Élysées–La Défense (or Élysée–La Défense or La Défense–Élysée) is an aborted project for the construction of a station on the Paris Métro.

Tour Adria (also known as tour Technip) is an office skyscraper located in La Défense, the high-rise business district situated west of Paris, France. It has a triangular floorplan. Built in 2002 by Michel Andrault and Nicolas Ayoub, architects from Conceptua, it is a twin of the nearby Tour Égée, which was built three years before in 1999. The only difference between both towers consists in their cladding: the one from Égée is white when the one from Adria is darker with windows looking like vertical glass stripes. Tour Adria is 155 m (509 ft) tall. Since its construction it has been occupied by the French engineering company Technip as its group headquarters.

Tour Sequoia (previously known as tour Bull, and also known as tour SFR or tour Cegetel) is an office skyscraper located in La Défense business district just west of Paris, France. Built in 1990, the 119-metre-tall tower represents the transition between the third and the fourth generations of buildings in La Défense. It is the first tower to be built with a semi-circular design in the business district. The design later inspired other towers such as CBC, Kupka, Pacific, Société Générale twin towers, and Tour CBX. Tour Sequoia has been built in proximity with the CNIT and the Grande Arche.

Leonardo de Vinci University Center (French: Pôle universitaire Léonard de Vinci), is a French private university cluster located at La Défense.

Tour Trinity is an office skyscraper in Puteaux, in La Défense, the business district of the Paris metropolitan area.It was designed by the architectural firm Cro & Co Architecture, directed by the architect Jean-Luc Crochon.The Tower measures 167 m and offers an area of 49,000 m2 on 33 levels.Trinity features several architectural innovations: An off-center core: the Trinity core is offset on the facade and adorned with panoramic elevators. Outdoor spaces: tree-lined terraces, loggias and balconies are accessible over the entire height of the tower. Front openings, which allow access to free air on all facades. Bioclimatic facades that optimize the supply of natural light. A minimum clear height of 2.80 m on all floors.

EMLV (Ecole de Management Léonard De Vinci) – the Leonard de Vinci Business School Paris-La Defense – is a business school in Paris located at the Pôle universitaire Léonard-de-Vinci in La Defense, the main business district of Paris. It delivers a 5-year program and is accredited by the French government and recognized at the European level by ENQA. The Pôle Universitaire Léonard De Vinci campus also includes a school of engineering (ESILV) and an international school of multimedia (IIM).

La Défense (French: [la de.fɑ̃s]) is a major business district located 3 kilometres (1.9 mi) west of the city limits of Paris. It is part of the Paris metropolitan area in the Île-de-France region, located in the department of Hauts-de-Seine in the communes of Courbevoie, La Garenne-Colombes, Nanterre, and Puteaux. La Défense is Europe's largest purpose-built business district, covering 560 hectares (1,400 acres), for 180,000 daily workers, with 72 glass and steel buildings (of which 19 are completed skyscrapers), and 3,500,000 square metres (38,000,000 sq ft) of office space. Around its Grande Arche and esplanade ("le Parvis"), La Défense contains many of the Paris urban area's tallest high-rises. Les Quatre Temps, a large shopping mall in La Défense, has 220 stores, 48 restaurants and a 24-screen movie theatre.The district is located at the westernmost extremity of the 10-kilometre-long (6.2 mi) Axe historique ("historical axis") of Paris, which starts at the Louvre in Central Paris and continues along the Champs-Élysées, well beyond the Arc de Triomphe along the Avenue de la Grande Armée before culminating at La Défense. The district is centred in an orbital motorway straddling the Hauts-de-Seine department communes of Courbevoie, La Garenne-Colombes, Nanterre and Puteaux. La Défense is primarily a business district and hosts a population of 25,000 permanent residents and 45,000 students. La Défense is also visited by 8,000,000 tourists each year and houses an open-air museum.
