Fassuta

Abirim (Hebrew: אַבִּירִים, lit. 'Knights'), also known as Mitzpe Abirim, is a community settlement in northern Israel. Located in the Upper Galilee, three kilometres from Ma'alot-Tarshiha, it falls under the jurisdiction of Ma'ale Yosef Regional Council. In 2021 it had a population of 296. It is located in the middle of a natural oak forest bordering the Nahal Kziv nature reserve.

In 1945, it had a population of 2,300 together with the neighboring villages of Dayr al-Qassi (also depopulated) and Fassuta. The population was predominantly Christian and most its residents live in what is now the state of Israel.It was situated on the northern end of a mountain in the Upper Galilee whose summit was behind the village to the south. It was connected to the coastal Acre-Ras al-Naqoura highway via a secondary road.

Highway 89 is a major east–west highway in the Upper Galilee and Western Galilee in northern Israel. It begins in the west in Nahariya and continues east to Ma'alot-Tarshiha, Safed, Hatzor HaGlilit and Rosh Pina, crossing the entire Galilee. It is 58 km long The route begins in the west at Nahariya junction with Highway 4 and continues east past several moshavim, kibbutzim and villages until it reaches Ma'alot-Tarshiha. Afterward, the road continues to Meron mountain, where it turns south toward Safed and passes south of the city. It continues east toward its eastern terminus, a junction with Highway 90 at Elifelet

Al-Nabi Rubin (Arabic: النبي روبين, literally "Prophet Rubin" or "Prophet Reuben"), was a Palestinian village located 28 kilometers northeast of Acre. Al-Nabi Rubin students used to attend school in the nearby village of Tarbikha.
