Al-Nabi Rubin (Arabic: النبي روبين, literally "Prophet Rubin" or "Prophet Reuben"), was a Palestinian village located 28 kilometers northeast of Acre. Al-Nabi Rubin students used to attend school in the nearby village of Tarbikha.

Tarbikha (Arabic: تربيخا), was a Palestinian Arab village. It was located 27 kilometres (17 miles) northeast of Acre in the British Mandate District of Acre that was captured and depopulated by the Israel Defense Forces during the 1948 Arab-Israeli war. The inhabitants of this village were, similar to the inhabitants of Southern Lebanon, Shia Muslims.

Iqrit (Arabic: إقرت or إقرث, Iqrith) was a Palestinian Christian village, located 25 kilometres (16 miles) northeast of Acre. Originally allotted to form part of an Arab state under the proposed 1947 UN Partition Plan, it was seized and depopulated by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) during the 1948 Arab–Israeli War, and their territory later became part of the new State of Israel. All of its Christian inhabitants were forced to flee to Lebanon or the Israeli village of Rameh, and, despite the promise that they would be returned in two weeks' time, the villagers were not allowed to return. In 1951, in response to a plea from the Iqrit villagers, the Israel Supreme Court ruled that the former residents of Iqrit be allowed to return to their homes. However, before that happened, the IDF, despite awareness of the Supreme Court decision, destroyed Iqrit. Descendants of the villagers maintain an outpost in the village church, and bury their dead in its cemetery. All attempts to cultivate its lands are uprooted by the Israel Lands Administration.

Netu'a (Hebrew: נְטוּעָה, lit. 'Planted') is a moshav in northern Israel. Located near the Lebanese border, it falls under the jurisdiction of Ma'ale Yosef Regional Council. In 2021 it had a population of 327.

Fassouta (Arabic: فسوطة, Hebrew: פַסּוּטָה‬) is a Christian Arab village in Galilee, on the northwestern slopes of Mount Meron, south of the Lebanese border. In 2021 it had a population of 3,236, nearly all of whom are Melkite Christian Arabs.

Abirim (Hebrew: אַבִּירִים, lit. 'Knights'), also known as Mitzpe Abirim, is a community settlement in northern Israel. Located in the Upper Galilee, three kilometres from Ma'alot-Tarshiha, it falls under the jurisdiction of Ma'ale Yosef Regional Council. In 2021 it had a population of 296. It is located in the middle of a natural oak forest bordering the Nahal Kziv nature reserve.

The Ma'ale Yosef Regional Council (Hebrew: מועצה אזורית מעלה יוסף, Mo'atza Azorit Ma'aleh Yosef) is a regional council in the Upper Galilee, part of the Northern District of Israel, situated between the towns of Ma'alot-Tarshiha and Shlomi. Its offices are located in Gornot HaGalil. The council was established in 1963, although most of its settlements were founded in the 1950s. It was named for Yosef Weiz, Zionist pioneer of the Second Aliyah and director of the Jewish National Fund following the First World War.
