Plaza Cisneros (Spanish: Plaza de Cisneros), also known as Luces Park or Lights Park (Spanish: Parque de las Luces), is a plaza in Medellín, Colombia. It is named after the Cuban engineer Francisco Javier Cisneros, who led the construction of the Antioquia Railway. It has an artificial forest of 300 light poles, which are up to 24 meters high. The plaza used to be the main marketplace of the city.The plaza was renovated with its current light fixtures as part of a renewal effort to rejuvenate the area. This project was called "Medellí is light". The plaza is located among the EPM Library and the Carre and Vásquez Buildings, and the Antioquia Railway Station.

Alpujarra is the twelfth station on Medellín Metro from north to south. It is located in the center of the municipality of Medellín and is adjacent to La Alpujarra Administrative Center, which it is named after. Alpujarra is also located near the Barefoot Park, the Medellín Metropolitan Theatre, the Interactive Museum EPM, and Plaza Cisneros. The station was opened on 30 November 1995 as part of the inaugural section of Line A, from Niquía to Poblado.The station is adjacent to the San Juan Avenue, a road that crosses the city from east to west central downtown and that provides easy access from Buenos Aires to the east with La Américan to the west. It is also on Bolívar Avenue, leading from downtown to the South Highway that goes to the southwest of Colombia.

Barefoot Park (Spanish: Parque de los Pies Descalzos) is a zen-inspired public park in Medellín, Colombia. The park was funded by EPM and designed by architect Felipe Uribe de Bedout. The park includes a green area with gardens and bamboo, a sand area, and an area with water fountains. As suggested by its name, the park is playful in nature. Children and adults are encouraged to play in the park barefoot. The Barefoot Park was created between 1998 and 2000. It is located in the administrative area of the city, adjacent to the Medellín Metropolitan Theatre, and the Medellín River. The Interactive Museum EPM, an interactive science museum, is part of the park.

San Antonio station is a station on the Medellín Metro. It is the terminal station for line B (center to west), and a possible transfer station to line A (north to south). It is named after the Church of San Antonio, which also gives its name to the nearby San Antonio Plaza. Line A station was opened on 30 November 1995 as part of the inaugural section of line A, from Niquía to Poblado. Line B station was opened on 28 February 1996 as part of the inaugural section of the line, from San Javier to San Antonio.

The Interactive Museum EPM is in Medellín, Colombia. It is part of the Barefoot Park and receives about a 1,000 visitors a day, mostly students. The museum provides an educational tour of 22 rooms spread over four buildings with technology explained in an entertaining way and guests interacting with the physical principles of water, energy, gas and telecommunications. It is funded and managed by Empresas Públicas de Medellín.

Cisneros is the second station on line B of the Medellín Metro, going from the central city to the west. It is named after the nearby Plaza Cisneros and its Cuban engineer, Francisco Javier Cisneros. It is an elevated station in the district La Candelaria, in the city center just before the Medellín river and close to La Alpujarra Administrative Center (next to the Alpujarra station), the headquarters of Teleantioquia, the Geographic Institute Agustín Codazzi, and Autonomous University, and El Volador hill. The station was opened on 28 February 1996 as part of the inaugural section of line B, from San Javier to San Antonio.This line will be integrated with the metro bus system known as Metroplus to facilitate movement in the city of Medellín.

Exposiciones is the thirteenth station on line A of the Medellín Metro from north to south. The station is located in the south-central area of Medellín in Colombia. It is named after the Plaza Mayor Conventions and Exhibitions center, and it is the first station on lina A that is not next to the Medellín River. The station was opened on 30 November 1995 as part of the inaugural section of Line A, from Niquía to Poblado.From this stop, there are buses that go south toward Eastern Antioquia, including Retiro, La Ceja, and La Union municipalities. There are also buses that go to the South Terminal of Intermunicipal Transport, where lines leave for the south of the department and the country, such as the cities of Armenia, Manizales, Pereira, Cali, Popayán, and Pasto.

Parques del Río Medellín ('Parks of the Medellín River') is a linear park located in the central area of the Colombian city of Medellín that integrates both banks of the Medellín River, which crosses the city from south to north. This work contemplates in its design the improvement of infrastructure, landscaping and vegetation, with the aim of becoming a metropolitan mobility corridor, and the main environmental and public space axis to encourage the meeting of citizens. Designed by the Colombian firm Latitud Taller de Arquitectura y Ciudad, their construction started in 2015 in the western side. It includes in its design 185 km of level roads, 82 km of underground roads, and 22 km of covered roads; 32 km of cycle paths, 180 hectares to connect guardian hills and the planting of 100 thousand trees.

Torre del Café (English: Coffee Tower), also known as Edificio del Café (English: Coffee Building), is a 36-storey high-rise commercial office skyscraper in the city municipality of Medellín, Colombia. Although the starting date of its construction is unknown, the Torre del Café was completed in 1975. Torre del Café is 160 metres (520 ft) high. Torre del Café has 36 floors, with a roof height of 520 feet (160 m), making it the second-tallest skyscraper in Medellín after the 175-metre-high (574 ft) skyscraper, the Torre Coltejer, and the tenth-tallest in Colombia.

Berrío Park is an urban plaza located in the geographical heart of Medellín, Colombia. It is popular as a meeting place for local residents and as the main reference of the city for visitors, as there are several attractions nearby. The park is named after Pedro Justo Berrío, who was a conservative politician and governor of Antioquia.Line A on the Medellín Metro has a stop for Berrío Park.

Parque Berrío Station, also known as Berrío Station, is the tenth station of the Medellín Metro and the tenth station on Line A from north to south. Due to its central location in the city, it is the most popular station for passengers to board. The station was opened on 30 November 1995 as part of the inaugural section of Line A, from Niquía to Poblado.
