Berrío Park

Parque Berrío Station, also known as Berrío Station, is the tenth station of the Medellín Metro and the tenth station on Line A from north to south. Due to its central location in the city, it is the most popular station for passengers to board. The station was opened on 30 November 1995 as part of the inaugural section of Line A, from Niquía to Poblado.

The Basilica of Our Lady of Candelaria or simply La Candelaria Church, as it is more popularly known, is a Roman Catholic church dedicated to the Virgin Mary under the title of Virgin of Candelaria. It is located in the center of the city of Medellín, Colombia, on the eastern side of Berrío Park. It is famous for being the oldest church in the city. It was the church of the Archdiocese of Medellín from 1868 to 1931, when this title passed to the Cathedral Basilica of the Immaculate Conception. It is a colonial building with a Neoclassical style. Its original structure built in stone and mortar has been patched over throughout its history with unrelated materials. On December 8, 1970, Pope Paul VI granted it the title of Minor basilica. Renovations occurred during 1997 and on July 31, 1998, by resolution 0795, the building was declared a National Monument of Colombia.

The Coltejer Building is the tallest building in Medellín, Colombia and the tenth-tallest in Colombia (as of 2016). It was completed in 1972. Coltejer is one of the most important textile companies in Colombia, and the largest textile complex in Latin America. It was founded in Medellín by Alejandro Echavarría on October 22, 1907.

The Rafael Uribe Uribe Palace of Culture is a public building in Medellín, that houses cultural programs related to the Department of Antioquia, such as concerts, conferences, and art exhibitions. Belgian architect Agustín Goovaerts designed the building in a Gothic Revival style. The palace was named after Rafael Uribe Uribe, a General for the Colombian Liberal Party. The Palace of Culture is today considered a National Monument of Colombia and is freely open to the public. It houses the Institute of Culture and Heritage of Antioquia. Visitors have access to the historical and photographical archive, music and sound archive, café, library, documentation center, permanent art gallery, and “Rafael Uribe Uribe” Museum room. The large dome located in the building is also used as an auditorium and a projection room, and can be used to watch movies.

Veracruz Church (Spanish: Iglesia de la Veracruz) is a Roman Catholic church under the invocation of the "Vera Cruz" or Holy Cross. It is located in the center of the city of Medellín, Colombia, on the western side of the Plazuela de la Veracruz. It is the only colonial church in the city.

El Hotel Nutibara, is a hotel located in the city of Medellín, in the city center, next to the Parque Berrío station of the Medellín Metro and tourist sites such as the Museo de Antioquia, the Palace of Culture, the Berrío parks and Bolívar, the metropolitan cathedral and the Candelaria basilica.Its name derives from a chief who inhabited the region, and name six of the lounges are related to Amerindian culture: Bochica, Tairona, Quimbaya, Katío, Bachué, and Nutabe.The hotel's restaurant is La Orquídea.It had been a staying place for Los Pelukas, pioneer rock band recorded in Colombia.

The Museum of Antioquia (Museo de Antioquia) is an art museum in Medellín, Colombia. It houses a large collection of works by Medellín native Fernando Botero and Pedro Nel Gómez. It was the first museum established in Antioquia department and the second in Colombia. The museum is located in the center of Medellín on the Botero Plaza near the Berrío Park metro station.

San Antonio station is a station on the Medellín Metro. It is the terminal station for line B (center to west), and a possible transfer station to line A (north to south). It is named after the Church of San Antonio, which also gives its name to the nearby San Antonio Plaza. Line A station was opened on 30 November 1995 as part of the inaugural section of line A, from Niquía to Poblado. Line B station was opened on 28 February 1996 as part of the inaugural section of the line, from San Javier to San Antonio.

Torre del Café (English: Coffee Tower), also known as Edificio del Café (English: Coffee Building), is a 36-storey high-rise commercial office skyscraper in the city municipality of Medellín, Colombia. Although the starting date of its construction is unknown, the Torre del Café was completed in 1975. Torre del Café is 160 metres (520 ft) high. Torre del Café has 36 floors, with a roof height of 520 feet (160 m), making it the second-tallest skyscraper in Medellín after the 175-metre-high (574 ft) skyscraper, the Torre Coltejer, and the tenth-tallest in Colombia.

Plaza Cisneros (Spanish: Plaza de Cisneros), also known as Luces Park or Lights Park (Spanish: Parque de las Luces), is a plaza in Medellín, Colombia. It is named after the Cuban engineer Francisco Javier Cisneros, who led the construction of the Antioquia Railway. It has an artificial forest of 300 light poles, which are up to 24 meters high. The plaza used to be the main marketplace of the city.The plaza was renovated with its current light fixtures as part of a renewal effort to rejuvenate the area. This project was called "Medellí is light". The plaza is located among the EPM Library and the Carre and Vásquez Buildings, and the Antioquia Railway Station.

The Metropolitan Cathedral of Medellín, officially the Metropolitan Cathedral Basilica of the Immaculate Conception is a Catholic cathedral dedicated to the Virgin Mary under the title of the Immaculate Conception. It is located in the central zone of the Medellín (Colombia) in the Villanueva neighborhood on the north side of Bolívar Park. Additionally, the temple was formerly called and it is still known but to a lesser extent, as Villaneuva Cathedral, especially during its construction to distinguish it from the Basilica of Our Lady of Candelaria, which was the seat for the Episcopal see at the time.

Cisneros is the second station on line B of the Medellín Metro, going from the central city to the west. It is named after the nearby Plaza Cisneros and its Cuban engineer, Francisco Javier Cisneros. It is an elevated station in the district La Candelaria, in the city center just before the Medellín river and close to La Alpujarra Administrative Center (next to the Alpujarra station), the headquarters of Teleantioquia, the Geographic Institute Agustín Codazzi, and Autonomous University, and El Volador hill. The station was opened on 28 February 1996 as part of the inaugural section of line B, from San Javier to San Antonio.This line will be integrated with the metro bus system known as Metroplus to facilitate movement in the city of Medellín.
