Northland is a residential and commercial area in northeast Columbus, Ohio. The area is served by the Northland Community Council, which oversees land east of Worthington, roughly north of Morse Road, south of I-270, and west of New Albany, including the neighborhood Forest Park and the independent village of Minerva Park.The area has one of the largest populations of new American citizens in Columbus, including thousands of refugees from Nepal, Somalia, and Bhutan.

Minerva Park is a village in Franklin County, Ohio, United States. The population was 2,009 at the 2020 census. The communities of Minerva Park, Bexley, Whitehall, and Valleyview are enclaves of Columbus.

Huber Ridge is a census-designated place (CDP) in Blendon Township, Franklin County, Ohio, United States. The population was 4,604 at the 2010 census.

Easton Town Center is a shopping center and mall in northeast Columbus, Ohio, United States. Opened in 1999, the core buildings and streets that comprise Easton are intended to look like a self-contained town, reminiscent of American towns and cities in the early-to-mid 20th century. Included in the design are fountains, streets laid out in a grid pattern surrounded by a continuous loop, and metered storefront parking. A variety of stores, restaurants, and service-oriented businesses occupy structures of varying sizes, most of which are contiguous, having shared walls. Many of these structures have a similar external appearance. Also included are traditional shopping mall features like large, multi-floor department stores, small kiosks located in the indoor common areas, a cinema complex, ATMs, and both covered and open parking structures. Easton attracts more than 30 million visitors per year.

Hondros College of Nursing is a private, for-profit college that focuses on nursing education with locations in Indiana and Ohio. It has one campus in Indianapolis, Indiana, and six campuses in Ohio: Akron, Cincinnati (West Chester), Cleveland (Independence), Columbus (Westerville), Dayton (Fairborn) and Toledo (Maumee). Students can earn a Practical Nursing Diploma, and an Associate Degree in Nursing.

The McDannald Homestead was a house in Columbus, Ohio. It was built c. 1850 and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978. The house was one of the largest and best preserved rural residential buildings in Franklin County. The house was a sanctuary stop on the Underground Railroad. It was demolished by Allstate on September 24, 1993, as the organization had planned to build a commercial office park there. Then-city councilor Michael Coleman expressed that it could have been saved if added to the Columbus Register of Historic Properties, which had just added demolition restrictions that July.The house had two and a half stories, and was built of red brick made on-site. It had thirteen rooms, mostly large, square, and with tall ceilings. The house was largely constructed from materials on the land, including walnut and cherry wood, though the parlor utilized pine transported from Michigan. The architect and builder are both unknown, though it is presumed Randal R. Arnold, a master carpenter who built many houses in the surrounding Blendon Township, also constructed this one.

Mifflin High School is a public high school located on the northeast side of Columbus, Ohio. It has been part of Columbus City Schools since the early 1970s. Previously it was a separate school district. The original high school was located at 3000 Agler Rd in Columbus and is now Mifflin Middle School. The school colors are blue and white with gray and black as unofficial colors. The official school nickname is the "Cowpunchers," but the local media has shorted the nickname to the "Punchers."

Northland High School (NHS) is a public high school in Columbus, Ohio, United States, NHS is a part of the Columbus City Schools system and opened in 1965. The current principal is Jason Johnson and athletic teams are known as the Vikings with school colors of green and gold.

Marburn Academy is a non-profit independent day school for students in grades 1–12 school in New Albany, Ohio. The school was created in 1981 as an alternative for gifted students who have ADHD or dyslexia. The school is one of 18 accredited Orton-Gillingham schools in the United States.In January 2017, Marburn Academy moved from Forest Park East, Columbus, to a new location at 9555 Johnstown Road, New Albany, Ohio 43054.

Northside Christian School is a private school located in Westerville, Ohio. Northside Christian School offers grades K4 through 12. The school is a ministry of Calvary Bible Church and is a member of Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) - Major accrediting body for Protestant schools in the U.S. Northside Christian competes in the Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA), in the Mid-Ohio Christian Athletic League (MOCAL).

Dwell Community Church, formerly Xenos Christian Fellowship, is a non-traditional, non-denominational, institutional cell church system. Unlike traditional churches, Dwell is centered on home church activities rather than traditional Sunday morning services. These small groups typically contain 15 to 60 members. Dwell also holds weekly multi-house church gatherings called central teachings. As of February 2009, Dwell has approximately 5,000 members and 300 home churches.The church has been described by some as a cult, a label Dwell rejects. The church has faced allegations of abuse and control of its members.
