Egypt Lane Historic District is a national historic district located at East Hampton, New York in Suffolk County, New York. The district includes six contributing buildings; three principal buildings and three outbuildings. The principal buildings are dwellings in the Colonial Revival, Federal, and Saltbox styles.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.

Lasata is an estate in East Hampton, New York, that was the childhood summer home of the then future First Lady of the United States Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis until she was about 12.

Hayground Windmill is an historic windmill at Windmill Lane in East Hampton Village, New York. It was moved from Hayground to Pantigo between Two Mile Hollow Beach and Egypt Beach in the 1950s.

The Pantigo Road Historic District is a historic district in the Village of East Hampton, on Long Island, New York. It is located on a segment of New York State Route 27 named Pantigo Road, and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on July 21, 1988.The Thomas Moran House, a National Historic Landmark, is included in the district. The district runs along NY 27 from the intersection of Accabonac Road and Egypt Lane(which has a historic district of its own south of this one) to Amy's Lane, west of a former town named Pantigo, which was between the East Hampton Village line and Amagansett, New York. Pantigo is home to Manhattan socialites during the summer months and is mainly sought after for its historic and exclusive homes. In recent years, Pantigo has emerged as the chicest town in the Hamptons. The district includes 43 contributing buildings, which, taken together illustrate the spectrum of architectural styles common in East Hampton from 1715 through 1920. These styles include Colonial, Federal, Queen Anne, shingle and Craftsman. The historically rural feel is maintained due to deep front lawns, large mature trees and surviving agricultural outbuildings.

Guild Hall of East Hampton in the incorporated Village of East Hampton on Long Island's East End, is one of the United States' first multidisciplinary cultural institutions. Opened in 1931, it was designed by architect Aymar Embury II and includes a visual art museum with three galleries and the John Drew Theater, a 360 seat proscenium stage. It is historically significant for its role in exhibiting the works of the American Abstract expressionists Jackson Pollock, Willem de Kooning, Lee Krasner, John Ferren, and Robert Motherwell; performances by Helen Hayes, Thornton Wilder, Douglas Fairbanks, Jr., Bob Fosse and Gwen Verdon, Eli Wallach and Anne Jackson, and hundreds of other world-class stars of stage and screen; and involvement by the literary figures George Plimpton, Peter Matthiessen, Gore Vidal, Edward Albee, and John Steinbeck. It holds a permanent collection of 2,400 works of art and continues to build on important relationships in the worlds of film, theatre, dance, music, and visual art. The museum's current director is Andrea Grover, who was previously Curator of Special Projects of the Parrish Art Museum.

East Hampton Village District is a historic district in East Hampton, New York.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1974. Its boundaries were increased in 1988.Contributing properties include what is known as the John Howard Payne House (a.k.a.; "Home Sweet Home") and the Thomas Moran House, a National Historic Landmark. The Pantigo Windmill and the Gardiner mill, two of the east end's New England–style smock windmills, are also included. Next to the 1926 flagpole on the village green is a large rock with a plaque installed on it, marking the historic district. The Green slopes up to the South End Cemetery, which was the site of the historic Town Church. It was a thatched roofed structure that was demolished. Near its former site is a memorial to Lion Gardiner, whose grave is 30 feet away. Historical markers about the Rev. Thomas James, first church minister are located on both James Lane and Pondview Lane. Further along is the town pond. This oval constitutes the original boundaries of the historic district. It was expanded to include, on the other side of James Lane, Tuthill House, Mulford Farmhouse, Home Sweet Home (associated with writer John Howard Payne), St. Luke's Episcopal Church and Rectory, the replica of the John Lyon Gardiner Mill Cottage, Gardiner Mill, The Rev. Thomas James historical marker- first pastor of the town church, (1651-1698) and the Thomas Moran House. The trees on side of the street by Mulford homestead are all separately marked with a stone with a name/date shield.

North Main Street Historic District is a national historic district located at East Hampton in Suffolk County, New York. The district includes 20 contributing buildings, two contributing structures, and two contributing sites. It includes 12 residential properties, one church, one cemetery, and one windmill.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.

The Pantigo Windmill is an octagonal smock mill in Easthampton on Long Island, New York. Bearing a 1771 weathervane on top, the James Lane structure was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1984 as a contributing property of the East Hampton Village District. (Ref# 74001309)

Mulford Farm in East Hampton, Long Island, New York, is one of America's most significant, intact English colonial farmsteads. The farmhouse was built in 1680 by High Sheriff Josiah Hobart, an important early official of the first New York Royal Province government. Samuel "Fish Hook" Mulford bought the property in 1712 after Hobart's death. He had the barn built in 1721. The property is listed as a contributing property of the East Hampton Village District, a historic district listed on the National Register of Historic Places.The Mulford Farm site has been interpreted as the year 1790, and includes the house, barn, spinning dependency, privy, smokehouse and garden. It is owned by the East Hampton Historical Society and operated as a living museum. Next to it is a colonial house museum, called "Home Sweet Home" for its association with songwriter John Howard Payne, who spent time as a child there at what was his grandfather's house. The Pantigo windmill is located behind it. The Mulford Farm museum is located at 10 James Lane, East Hampton, New York, accessible by Montauk Highway. It is open from Memorial Day weekend through Columbus Day weekend.

Hook Windmill, also known as Old Hook Mill, is a historic windmill on North Main Street in East Hampton, New York. It was built in 1806 and operated regularly until 1908. One of the most complete of the existing windmills on Long Island, the windmill was sold to the town of East Hampton in 1922. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978 and is part of the North Main Street Historic District. The mill was renamed the "Old Hook Mill" and is open daily to visitors.

The mill cottage on the Lion Gardiner farm at 36 James Lane on the landmarked East Hampton Village green has become a museum displaying 19th and early-20th-century landscape paintings. It is a contributing structure on the NRHP East Hampton Village District, replacing the original cottage on the lot situated with the windmill and Rev James historic marker.

Rev. Thomas James, Jr. (1620-1698) was a Puritan minister in East Hampton, Long Island, during the late 17th century. In 1648, the first inhabitants of East Hampton arrived, having mostly migrated from Maidstone, a town in Kent, England. Prior to reaching eastern Long Island, they made a stopover in Lynn, Massachusetts, and then moved on to Connecticut. Their journey to America was primarily driven by religious persecution and oppressive governmental regulations. These settlers sought not just religious freedom, but also civil liberties.
