Southcentre Mall

Willow Park is a residential neighbourhood in the southeast quadrant of Calgary, Alberta. It is bounded to the west by Macleod Trail, to the south by Anderson Road, to the north by Southland Drive and to the east by the community of Maple Ridge. The Willow Park golf course bisects the neighbourhood from west to east, while Fairmont Drive crosses from south to north. Southcentre Mall and Willow Park shopping village are located in the southwest corner of the neighbourhood. It is represented in the Calgary City Council by the Ward 14 councillor.

Anderson station is a CTrain light rail station in Southwood, Calgary, Alberta, Canada. It serves the South Line (Route 201) and it opened on May 25, 1981, as part of the original line until October 8, 2001 as the southern terminus of Route 201. The station is located on the exclusive LRT right of way (adjacent to CPR ROW), 10.6 km south of the City Hall Interlocking. The station is located just north of Anderson Road west of Macleod Trail. The station is located across from Southcentre Mall, through a pedestrian bridge that crosses Macleod Trail. The station consists of a centre-loading platform with Mezzanine access at the South end and grade-level access at the North end. 1323 paved parking spaces are located on-site, as well as a 427 space overflow lot. Construction of the Anderson Station platform that was meant for 3 cars was expanded to accommodate 4 cars starting in June 2013, and was completed in the late fall of 2013.In January 2018, the south entrance to the Mezzanine level was closed as crews removed the entrance in preparation for renovations. On April 2, 2018, the Mezzanine level was closed to perform renovations. The grade-level entrance remained open, as well as the station itself while renovations are underway. Renovations were expected to be completed by October 2018 but due to soil and structural issues arising during construction, the completion date was extended to Spring of 2019 with construction being completed in June 2019. The Anderson Shops and Garage, where the CTrain vehicles are maintained, is located here. CTrains operating on the NE line had to come up from the Anderson Garage every morning from the opening of the NE line in 1985 until the Oliver Bowen Maintenance Facility opened with McKnight–Westwinds Station in 2008. In 2005, the station registered and average transit of 11,300 boardings per weekday.

Southland Park is the name of a commercial office complex in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, comprising over 1,000,000 square feet (93,000 m2) of office space and consisting of four separate office buildings. The complex is Calgary's largest suburban office park. The office park is listed by Cushman & Wakefield and managed by Canderal.

Acadia is a neighbourhood in the southeast quadrant of Calgary, Alberta. The area is bounded on the west by Macleod Trail, on the east by the Bow River, on the north by Heritage Drive and on the south by Southland Drive. The land was annexed to the City of Calgary in 1956, and Acadia was established in 1960. The neighbourhood's main street is Fairmount Drive, and many of the area's businesses cluster along the street. The area also contains Lord Beaverbrook High School, the city's largest high school.

The station is located on the exclusive LRT right of way (adjacent to CPR ROW), 9.5 km south of the City Hall interlocking at Southland Drive.The station consists of a center-loading platform with mezzanine access on the North end and grade-level access at the South end. 650 spaces are available for parking at the station. In 2005, the station registered an average transit of 10,500 boardings per weekday.On July 12, 2016, a flash flood occurred at Southland Park and Ride. This flash flood flooded with high water marks on some cars above the headlights of the cars causing water ingress into engines and car interiors.

Canyon Meadows station is a CTrain light rail station in Canyon Meadows, Calgary, Alberta, Canada. It serves the South Line (Route 201) and opened on October 9, 2001, as part of the South LRT Extension Phase I. It is located on the exclusive LRT right of way (adjacent to the CPR ROW) 12.6 km South of the City Hall Interlocking, beside MacLeod Trail, to the north of Canyon Meadows Drive. The station has a pedestrian bridge connecting to Lake Bonavista as well as a large park-and-ride facility on the east side of Macleod Trail. Stairs and escalators, as well as an elevator provide access down to the center-loading platform. This is the only station on the South line without grade-level access due to space constraints. 260 parking spaces are located at the station. In 2005, the station registered and average transit of 5,800 boardings per weekday.Originally constructed as a 3-car length platform, construction of the platform to accommodate 4-train cars started in Summer 2011 and was completed in December that year.

Southwood is a residential neighbourhood in the southwest quadrant of Calgary, Alberta. It is bounded by 98th Avenue (an alley north of Southland Drive) to the north, Macleod Trail to the east, Anderson Road to the south and 14th Street SW to the west. Southland Drive passes through the northern part of the community. A major roadway, Elbow Drive, bisects the community. The community is served by the Southland and Anderson stations of the C-Train LRT system. Southcentre Mall is located east from the neighbourhood. Southwood was established in 1960. It is represented in the Calgary City Council by the Ward 11 councillor.

Lord Beaverbrook High School (LBHS) is a public high school in Calgary, Alberta, Canada operated by the Calgary Board of Education. It was founded in 1967 and the first year of attendance was in 1968. It has approximately 1,100 students and 100 staff members. It is named after Max Aitken, Lord Beaverbrook. The school's mascot is a "Lord"—a black, silver, and white lion wearing a crown. The school is part of the Action for Bright Children Society.

Dr. E.P. Scarlett High School is a public senior high school located in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The school was named after Earle Parkhill Scarlett, a Calgary physician, educator, scholar and writer. The school is run by the Calgary Board of Education. The school graduates around c. 500 Grade 12 students every year, with a 91% graduation rate. Scarlett is located on Elbow Drive and Canterbury Drive, and is one of few high schools servicing the deep south districts. Scarlett has the largest and most established AP program in the city and hosts French Immersion and Spanish bilingual programs.

R. T. Alderman School is a Science School in southeastern Calgary in the province of Alberta, Canada. It is located in the community of Maple Ridge.

The Canyon Meadows golf course is developed northwest of the neighbourhood. The community is served by the Canyon Meadows station of the C-Train LRT system. Canyon Meadows was established in 1965. It is represented in the Calgary City Council by the Ward 13 councillor.

Lake Bonavista is a neighbourhood in Southeast Calgary, Alberta, Canada. It is bounded by Anderson Road to the north, Macleod Trail to the west, Canyon Meadows Drive to the south, and Bow Bottom Trail to the east. The small community of Bonavista Downs resides in the northeast corner of the neighbourhood.
