Tor Tre Teste is a district of Rome, Italy, outside the city walls. It is located in Municipio VII along Via Praenestina. It has a population of 12,176.The area was part of the Roman countryside until the middle of the 20th century. Tor Tre Teste means "three heads' tower" and was named after a Roman funerary relief. One of the deceased is a veiled woman. The relief was walled into a tower built in the 12th century and belonging to the Lateran Basilica. Later the tower was incorporated into a small church. This part of the Roman Campagna was built up rapidly in the second half of the 20th century. Important Roman archaeological remains were destroyed during the process. The modern district is mainly suburban sprawl, a blend of nondescript housing developments and industrial estates.

The Jubilee Church, formally known as Chiesa di Dio Padre Misericordioso (Italian for "Church of God the Merciful Father"), is a Catholic church and community center in Tor Tre Teste in Rome. According to Richard Meier, its architect, it is "the crown jewel of the Vicariato di Roma's (Archdiocese of Rome) Millennium project" (p. 354). The Church serves eight thousand residents of the Tor Tre Teste area and was meant to socially "revive" Tor Tre Teste. Meier was selected as the architect as winner of a competition that included famous architects such as Frank Gehry, Santiago Calatrava and Tadao Ando in 1996.

The stop serves the area of Torre Maura and provides an interchange with the Tobagi station on the Rome-Giardinetti railway.Construction of the station started in 2007; it was opened on 9 November 2014.

It is located along the Via Casilina, at the intersection with Viale Alessandrino and Piazza Sor Capanna, between the Don Bosco and Alessandrino districts. Construction of the station began in 2007, and the stop itself was opened on 9 November 2014.

The Roma–Giardinetti railway is a narrow gauge on-street railway which connects Laziali (a regional train station some 800 metres (2,625 ft) from Termini's main concourse) with Giardinetti to the east just past the Grande Raccordo Anulare, Rome's orbital motorway. It is run by ATAC, the company responsible for public transportation in the city, which also operates the Rome Metro.
