The Verdun Auditorium (French: Auditorium de Verdun) is an arena located in the borough of Verdun, in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The building was constructed in 1938 and holds 4,114 seats. The largest arena in the west end of Montreal, the complex is also home to Arena Denis Savard, a small minor-hockey rink, attached to its side. The Auditorium has hosted various Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) teams, including the Verdun Juniors, Verdun Éperviers, and Verdun Collège Français. In 1993, it hosted the Montreal Dragons for their lone season in the short-lived National Basketball League. Since 2022, it has been the home to the Montreal Alliance of the Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL). The Auditorium was slated to become the home arena of Les Canadiennes de Montréal in 2019; however, the CWHL folded in May of that year. In November 2023, it was announced that Verdun Auditorium would become the new home of Montréal of the Professional Women's Hockey League (PWHL) starting in 2024.On January 25, 2008, the QMJHL approved the sale of the St. John's Fog Devils to Montreal businessman Farrel Miller, who relocated the team to Montreal, where it was known as the Montreal Junior Hockey Club. In Summer 2011, the team moved to Boisbriand to become the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada. The auditorium also hosted a concert by Nirvana on November 2, 1993. This was the band's last show in Montreal before frontman Kurt Cobain died five months later.The Verdun Auditorium has hosted professional wrestling events, including shows promoted by Johnny Rougeau's All Star Wrestling, the Vachon Brothers' Grand Prix Wrestling and Lutte Internationale, and was the location of the first World Wrestling Federation event to be held in Montreal, though that event drew poorly against the better-established Lutte Internationale.Major upgrades of the arena were undertaken in 2018 with plans for completion in 2020. These $42 million renovations made upgrades to the safety of the facility, as well as a restoration of the brick façade. In May 2022, the arena hosted the first home game of the CEBL's Montreal Alliance. The Alliance won 80-70 over the Scarborough Shooting Stars in front of a near-sell out crowd.

The station opened on September 3, 1978, as part of the extension of the Green Line westward to Angrignon station.

The Église Notre-Dame-des-Sept-Douleurs de Montréal (En:Church of Our Lady of the Seven Sorrows of Montreal) is a Roman Catholic church in Verdun, Montreal, Quebec. It is located on Wellington Street. The De L'Église station is named for the church. It was designed by Montreal architect Joseph Venne and completed in 1911.

The Great War Memorial Hall now Islamic Centre of Montreal is an historic building in the Verdun neighbourhood of Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It is located on rue de Verdun across from Verdun borough hall and Verdun station. From its opening in 1929 to 2012, it was owned by the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #4. The building was then sold to the Islamic Centre of Montreal, which has used the space as a mosque and community centre. The hall's design and construction were overseen by Montreal architect Frank R. Foster on land supplied by Verdun mayor J.A.A Leclair. The cornerstone was laid on April 20, 1929, and it officially opened on October 6, 1929, with a ceremony including Governor-General Freeman Freeman-Thomas, 1st Marquess of Willingdon. Verdun, then an independent city, was a booming street suburb of Montreal, and approximately 20% of male residents were veterans of World War I.

Marguerite Bourgeoys Park (French: Parc Marguerite-Bourgeoys) is a park in the Pointe-Saint-Charles neighbourhood of the Le Sud-Ouest borough of Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It is bordered by du Parc Marguerite-Bourgeoys Street to the north and east, des Filles du Roy Street to the south, and Wellington Street to the west. The park was created in 1910. It initially was named Monahan Park. It was renamed Marguerite Bourgeoys Park in 1922.The park is named for Marguerite Bourgeoys, the French founder of the Congregation of Notre Dame of Montreal in the colony of New France (present-day Quebec). She has been declared a Saint by the Catholic Church.

The Nuns' Island gas station was a modernist-style filling station in Montreal built in 1969 from a project of Ludwig Mies van der Rohe. Closed for several years, it was later converted to a community centre.It was the first gas station on the island, commissioned by Imperial Oil.

Wellington Street (officially in French: Rue Wellington) is an north–south thoroughfare located in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It starts at LaSalle Boulevard in the borough of Verdun, passes through Pointe-Saint-Charles and Griffintown in the borough of Le Sud-Ouest, and terminates at McGill Street in Old Montreal in the borough of Ville-Marie. Wellington Street spans 5.7 km (3.5 mi) in length. De L'Église métro station is located on the street. Wellington Street is named for Arthur Wellesley, 1st Duke of Wellington (1769–1852), a British field marshal and two-time prime minister of the United Kingdom. The Duke of Wellington is best known for having defeated Napoleon I of France in the Battle of Waterloo in June 1815.Wellington Street serves as a shopping district for the borough of Verdun and most of the neighbourhood of Pointe Saint-Charles. It is primarily industrial between the railroad tracks in Pointe Saint-Charles and the Bonaventure Expressway. The electrical substation Poste Adélard-Godbout and the de L'Église metro station are sited on the street.
