Charleston is a town in Wasatch County, Utah, United States. The population was 415 at the 2010 census. The community was named after Charles Shelton, a first settler.

The Watkins–Coleman House was designed and built by John Watkins in 1869 in Midway, Utah. Watkins, trained as an architect in England, emigrated to the United States in 1856 to house his polygamist family. In 1903 the house was sold to Henry T. Coleman. The 2+1⁄2-story Carpenter Gothic house was built in red brick, with extensive scroll-cut ornamentation on the eaves. Corners are accented with contrasting white sandstone quoins. The steeply-pitched roof is covered in green-stained wood shingles.The Watkins–Coleman House was placed on the National Register of Historic Places on May 14, 1971.

Soldier Hollow is a cross-country ski venue located at the mouth of a hollow of the same name about 53 miles (85 km) southeast of Salt Lake City in Wasatch Mountain State Park in northwestern Wasatch County, Utah, United States. The venue was created for the 2002 Winter Olympics, and during the games it hosted the biathlon, cross-country skiing, and the cross country skiing portion of the Nordic combined events.: 81–82  Since hosting the Olympics, it has been developed as a cross-country skiing, tubing, and snowshoeing venue, while featuring mountain biking and golfing in the summer. On May 1, 2016, the venue operation contract transferred from the Soldier Hollow Legacy Foundation to the Utah Olympic Legacy Foundation, which owns and operates several Olympic and Paralympic legacy venues elsewhere in the state.

Midway is a city in northwestern Wasatch County, Utah, United States. It is located in the Heber Valley, approximately 3 miles (4.8 km) west of Heber City and 28 miles (45 km) southeast of Salt Lake City, on the opposite side of the Wasatch Mountains. The population was 6,003 at the 2020 census.

The Wilson House and Farmstead, at 94 E. 250 North in Midway, Utah, was built in 1894. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2007. The listing included three contributing buildings.It includes a one-and-a-half-story brick house built upon a stone foundation in 1894. It was designed and built by William Walter Wilson as a Victorian-style cross-wing cottage. In 1915 addition to the rear and remodeling added Bungalow style. It was also remodeled during 1989 to 1991, which replaced a c.1920 sleeping porch by an enclosed back porch.Also contributing on the property are a c. 1896 stone granary and a c. 1915 frame wagon shed/garage.

While the hollow is fairly small, it is most notable for the Soldier Hollow winter sports venue that is located at the mouth of the hollow (and that was named after the hollow). The Wasatch Back is a region in the Rocky Mountains in the U.S. state of Utah. It includes cities such as Park City, Heber City, and Morgan. The name Wasatch Back differentiates it from the Wasatch Front, which includes Utah's more populous cities such as Salt Lake City, Ogden, Layton, and Provo. The Wasatch Back sits on the eastern side of the Wasatch Range of the Rocky Mountains, while the Wasatch Front sits on the western side. Wasatch is a Ute Indian word that means "mountain pass" or "low pass over high range." The Wasatch Back is a very affluent region. Summit County (home to Park City) is one of the wealthiest counties in the United States.Originally a mining and agricultural region, the Wasatch Back has experienced rapid residential growth through the 1990s and continuing into the 2000s. Local recreational activities include skiing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, hiking, boating, and horseback riding. Park City is the site of numerous concerts and festivals, including the Sundance Film Festival.

CAF Utah Wing Museum is one of many local detachments of the national Commemorative Air Force (CAF) non-profit aviation association dedicated to Honoring American Military Aviation through Flight, Exhibit and Remembrance. The Museum is located at Russ McDonald Field, Utah, and contains artifacts and exhibits from World War II, Korean, and Vietnam wars. In addition they operate a N2S Stearman aircraft and two T-6 Advanced Trainer aircraft - part of the CAF's fleet of over 170 vintage warbirds - with rides available to the public. Exhibits and displays preserve stories of local characters that participated in aviation. The Museum is closed, except by special arrangement, from October 31 to May 1 each year.

The Schneitter Hotel, at 700 N. Homestead Dr. in Midway, Utah, was built around 1886. Also known as Virginia House, it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1992.It is a two-story central passage plan house with brick walls on a stone foundation, and is the only example of Federal style in the area.It was built as the guest house and principal building of Schneitter's Hot Pot Resort, which later became the Homestead Resort. This "was one of the two most successful and long-lived of the several bathing resorts developed in the Midway area in the nineteenth century to take advantage of the natural hot springs, many of which are surrounded by large, conical mineral deposits, or 'pots.' The Schneitter Hotel is one of the few remaining historic buildings that represent the recreational industry that was important in the early (and current) economy of the area."
