Sheboygan County Asylum

The David Taylor House is a historic building located on the grounds of the Sheboygan County Historical Museum in Sheboygan, Wisconsin.

The Sheboygan County Historical Museum is located on the grounds of Taylor Park in Sheboygan, Wisconsin on the city's west side. The museum complex includes the historical David Taylor House, the 1864 Weinhold Family Homestead, the 1890s Schuchardt Barn with rural agricultural displays and the 1867 Bodenstab Cheese Factory with early commercial cheese making implements. The museum also features seasonal displays, temporary exhibits, classroom and the museum store. Changing exhibits include Native American history, ice harvesting, maritime, circus, local sports, and early agricultural.

Sheboygan () is a city in and the county seat of Sheboygan County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 49,929 at the 2020 census. It is the principal city of the Sheboygan, Wisconsin Metropolitan Statistical Area, which has a population of 118,034. The city is located on the western shore of Lake Michigan at the mouth of the Sheboygan River, about 50 miles (80 kilometers) north of Milwaukee and 64 mi (103 km) south of Green Bay.

The Garton Toy Company was founded by Eusebius Bassingdale in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. Garton manufactures sleds, scooters, pedal cars, tricycles, and coaster wagons.Part or all of the building the Garton Toy Company was housed in was designed by architect William C. Weeks. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2000. The building has since been converted into an apartment complex by Milwaukee-based Gorman & Company.

The Art Preserve is an art museum and a satellite campus of the John Michael Kohler Arts Center. The preserve houses a collection of artist-built environments and sculptural works. It is designed by Tres Birds and located in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. Opened in June 2021, the Art Preserve is the first museum dedicated to the exhibition, preservation, and care of artist-built environments. The museum also serves as a research space for the art environment genre.

The Jung Carriage Factory is a historic two-story building in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. It was built in 1885 for Jacob Jung, and designed in the Richardsonian Romanesque style. The building was initially a factory of "horsedrawn carriages, wagons, and sleighs." It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since July 10, 1974.

Mead Public Library is a municipal library in Sheboygan, Wisconsin and serves Sheboygan County. It is the main headquarters library of the Monarch Library System, consisting of libraries in Sheboygan, Ozaukee, Dodge, and Washington Counties.

The Above & Beyond Children's Museum is a children's museum in downtown Sheboygan, Wisconsin. The museum has 3 floors of hands-on exhibits in over 10,000 feet of floor space.The museum is a member of the Association of Children's Museums.

Sheboygan is a town in Sheboygan County, Wisconsin, known as the Town of Sheboygan to differentiate from Sheboygan County, and the City of Sheboygan. The population was 8,136 according to the 2020 Census. It is included in the Sheboygan, Wisconsin Metropolitan Statistical Area. This separate municipality is located north and west of the city of Sheboygan, with varying boundaries along the city and village lines of Sheboygan and Kohler, including enclaves of homes connected to the town by inches-long lines of property. The town of Sheboygan has at various times started to take action to acquire village status in order to fend off annexation attempts by the city, but efforts have been unsuccessful thus far.

The I. C. Thomas Drug Store is a historic three-story building in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. It was designed by architect Arvin L. Weeks, and built as a drugstore for Max R. Zaegel in 1886. From 1920 to 1971, it belonged to I. C. Thomas, another pharmacist. The building has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since July 10, 1974.

The Henry and Charles Imig Block is a historic two-story building in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. It was built in 1881-1882 by masons Luecke & Roeder and carpenter Fred Hildebrand, and it was designed in the Italianate style by architect Charles Hilpertshauser. The building was initially a clothing and boot store run by the Imig brothers, whose father was an immigrant from Germany. The building has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since July 9, 1998.
