As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 768 and an area of 11.4 square kilometres (4.4 sq mi).Lona-Lases borders the following municipalities: Valfloriana, Sover, Segonzano, Cembra, Bedollo, Baselga di Pinè, Albiano and Fornace.
