North-West College is a private for-profit system of colleges in California. North-West College offers diploma, associate degree and certification programs at each of its seven campuses throughout the Los Angeles and Riverside areas. North-West College was established in 1966 by Marsha Fuerst. Fuerst's family has been involved in the allied health field since the early 1950s. North-West College continues to be owned and operated by the Fuerst family.

Baldwin Park High School is located in Baldwin Park, California. It is part of the Baldwin Park Unified School District. It is one of three high schools in the city, Sierra Vista High School and North Park Continuation School being the other two. Usually the students attending this high school are the ones coming from Holland Middle School (6-8), Olive Middle School (6-8), Santa Fe Elementary (3-8) and about half from Jones Junior High (7-8) and very few from Sierra Vista Junior High (7-8).The school colors are Royal blue, white and silver. The school mascot is a Brave (Native American).

The district is currently represented by Democrat Brad Sherman. The district was previously represented by Democrat Judy Chu. Following the 2012 elections, due to redistricting, Chu ran for U.S. Representative in the 27th congressional district, while Grace Napolitano ran in the 32nd congressional district, having been displaced from the 38th district. Sherman, the district's current representative, previously sat in the House for California's 30th congressional district.

The city name and zipcode for addresses south of Arrow Highway is Covina and 91722, respectively, and Azusa and 91702 for addresses north of Arrow Highway. The population was 15,922 at the 2010 census, up from 15,097 at the 2000 census. Vincent is named after Vincent Avenue, which passes through the community.

Covina High School, commonly known as Covina High or CHS to the students, is a public high school located in Covina, California. Covina High School is one of three comprehensive high schools within the Covina-Valley Unified School District. Established in 1897, Covina High is the first and oldest high school in the school district and is accredited by Western Association of Schools and Colleges. There were approximately 1,650 students enrolled for the 2010–11 school year. Covina High School is one of the oldest establishments in Covina. Its original campus, Covina Union High School, was located off of S. Citrus Ave and W. Puente St. and was opened in 1897, just a few years before Covina became an incorporated city. In 1956, Covina High School moved to its current location on Hollenbeck Ave. and was open for classes in 1957.The teaching staff includes fifty-six regular education teachers and six special education teachers. Additional personnel include the school principal, two assistant principal, a student activities director, three counselors, and two library clerks. The school's mascot is the colt. The school colors are cardinal and white. The school's rival is Northview High School.

Bishop Amat Memorial High School is a co-ed Catholic high school serving the San Gabriel Valley in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Los Angeles, and was founded in 1957. The campus is located in La Puente, California, approximately 20 miles (32 km) east of downtown Los Angeles in Los Angeles County. The coeducational student body comprises approximately 1,520 students in grades 9 through 12, making Bishop Amat the largest private high school in Los Angeles County.
