West Covina High School (WCHS) is a four-year comprehensive secondary school located in West Covina, California, USA.

Plaza West Covina (formerly Westfield West Covina, and before that Plaza at West Covina, West Covina Fashion Plaza, and West Covina Plaza) is a large regional shopping mall in West Covina, California, owned by the Starwood Capital Group. Its anchor stores are Macy's, JCPenney, XXI Forever, Nordstrom Rack, Best Buy, and Gold's Gym with one vacant space last occupied by Sears. Westfield America, Inc., a precursor to Westfield Group, acquired the shopping center in 1998 and renamed it "Westfield Shoppingtown West Covina", dropping the "Shoppingtown" name in June 2005. In October 2013, the Westfield Group sold the mall to Starwood Capital Group and the mall is now managed by Pacific Retail Capital Partners.

Valinda is a census-designated place (CDP) in the San Gabriel Valley, in Los Angeles County, California, in the United States. At the 2010 census, the population was 22,822, up from 21,776 at the 2000 census.

The Galster Wilderness Park Nature Center is a small museum and educational center set in Galster Wilderness Park, a 42-acre (170,000 m2) wilderness park located on the north slope of the San Jose Hills in the San Gabriel Valley, California. It is operated by the San Gabriel Mountains Regional Conservancy in partnership with the City of West Covina, California. The center is named after Emil S. and Gladys Galster, who deeded the park to the City of West Covina in 1971. Emil and Gladys Galster stipulated that the park will always remain a wilderness park and be available for educational use to scouting organizations. Galster Wilderness is one of the last remaining native plant communities of Southern California Black Walnut Woodlands, Juglans californica trees, which grow on the north slope of the San Jose Hills. Besides the non-natives, coastal sage scrub dominates the remainder of the park.

Covina High School, commonly known as Covina High or CHS to the students, is a public high school located in Covina, California. Covina High School is one of three comprehensive high schools within the Covina-Valley Unified School District. Established in 1897, Covina High is the first and oldest high school in the school district and is accredited by Western Association of Schools and Colleges. There were approximately 1,650 students enrolled for the 2010–11 school year. Covina High School is one of the oldest establishments in Covina. Its original campus, Covina Union High School, was located off of S. Citrus Ave and W. Puente St. and was opened in 1897, just a few years before Covina became an incorporated city. In 1956, Covina High School moved to its current location on Hollenbeck Ave. and was open for classes in 1957.The teaching staff includes fifty-six regular education teachers and six special education teachers. Additional personnel include the school principal, two assistant principal, a student activities director, three counselors, and two library clerks. The school's mascot is the colt. The school colors are cardinal and white. The school's rival is Northview High School.

Edgewood High School is a secondary school located in West Covina, California and is serviced by West Covina Unified School District. Previously a high school and now once again one, it shares its campus with Edgewood Middle School. The newly started high school's first graduating class was the class of 2014, which was the only class on campus when the school first opened in 2010.

William Workman High School is the only public high school located in City of Industry, California. It is one of four high schools in the Hacienda La Puente Unified School District. For sports part of the Montview League.

California's 32nd congressional district is a congressional district in the U.S. state of California based in Los Angeles County. The 32nd district takes in the city of Malibu and the Los Angeles neighborhoods of Pacific Palisades, Beverly Glen, Bel Air, Studio City, Sherman Oaks, Woodland Hills, West Hills, Canoga Park, Winnetka, Reseda, Encino, Chatsworth, Northridge, Brentwood, North Hills, as well as the south side of Granada Hills. The district is currently represented by Democrat Brad Sherman. The district was previously represented by Democrat Judy Chu. Following the 2012 elections, due to redistricting, Chu ran for U.S. Representative in the 27th congressional district, while Grace Napolitano ran in the 32nd congressional district, having been displaced from the 38th district. Sherman, the district's current representative, previously sat in the House for California's 30th congressional district.

North-West College is a private for-profit system of colleges in California. North-West College offers diploma, associate degree and certification programs at each of its seven campuses throughout the Los Angeles and Riverside areas. North-West College was established in 1966 by Marsha Fuerst. Fuerst's family has been involved in the allied health field since the early 1950s. North-West College continues to be owned and operated by the Fuerst family.

The Industry Hills Expo Center is an 125-acre event venue (51 ha) in the City of Industry, California, United States. The multi-purpose arena seats over 5,000 spectators and was home to the Los Angeles Lynx of the National Indoor Football League. Built in 1981, the venue has other smaller buildings along with outdoor horse arenas.The venue is one of the top venues for motorcycle speedway in the United States.

South Hills High School, often known by its abbreviation SHHS, is a public high school located in the hills of the eastern part of West Covina, California. There is a common misconception that it is in Covina, most likely due to the fact that the school is in the Covina-Valley Unified School District rather than the West Covina Unified School District. South Hills opened in the fall of 1964.

Eastland Center, formerly Westfield Eastland/Eastland Shopping Center, is a shopping center in West Covina, California, currently managed by Pine Tree, LLC.Westfield America, Inc., a precursor to Westfield Group, acquired the shopping center in 1998 and renamed it "Westfield Shoppingtown Eastland", dropping the "Shoppingtown" name in June 2005. Once a fashionable department store-anchored regional shopping mall, in 1997 it was converted to a power center as the nearby Plaza at West Covina became the dominant area center. It was once anchored by a five-story May Company department store, where the Target now stands. Uniquely, the power center is two levels, with parking for the lower level on the south side of the center and parking for the upper level on the north side. Corridors connect both the upper and lower levels.
