Ouchy–Olympique station

Ouchy is a port and a popular lakeside resort south of the centre of Lausanne in Switzerland, at the edge of Lake Geneva (French: lac Léman).

The Château d'Ouchy (Castle of Ouchy) is a hotel built on the site of an old medieval castle in Lausanne, Switzerland by fr:Jean-Jacques Mercier between 1889 and 1893. It belongs to hotel division of the Sandoz Family Foundation.

Jordils is a Lausanne Métro station on M2 line. It was opened on 27 October 2008 as part of the inaugural section of the line, from Croisettes to Ouchy–Olympique. The station is located between Délices and Ouchy–Olympique.In 1877, a funicular between Lausanne and Ouchy was opened, which had Jordils station. In 1959 the funicular was rebuilt as a rack railway. In 2003, the railway was demolished to give way for construction of M2 line. In 2008 the station was reopened at the same location.

Landolt & Cie, banquiers is a Swiss private bank specializing in asset management for wealthy private customers, headquartered in Lausanne and founded in 1780 in Lausanne. It was since acquired by Hermann Hofstetter and in 1973 it was renamed Hofstetter, Landolt & Cie, as Marc-Edouard Landolt joined Bernard Hofstetter as a partner. In 1990, it was renamed Landolt, Lonfat & Cie., banquiers and in 1994 Landolt & Cie, banquiers.It is organised in the form of a Kommanditgesellschaft with three partners. The bank specialises in asset management for private customers and institutional investors, and is the oldest such institution in the French-speaking part of Switzerland. The bank has secondary offices in Geneva and Crans-Montana.

The Beau-Rivage Palace is a historical luxury five-star hotel in Lausanne, Switzerland. It is located in Ouchy, on the shores of Lake Léman. The hotel opened in 1861 and the current main building was constructed in Art Nouveau and neo-baroque style in 1908. It is registered in the Swiss Inventory of Cultural Property of National and Regional Significance. The Beau-Rivage Palace is owned by Sandoz Family Foundation founders of Sandoz AG, now Novartis.

The station is located between Grancy and Jordils.In 1877, a funicular between Lausanne and Ouchy was opened. In 1898, Montriond station was added to it, and in 1959 the funicular was rebuilt as a rack railway. In 2003, the railway was demolished to give way for construction of M2 line. Montriond station was demolished as well and move closer to Lausanne railway station; in 2008 it was reopened as Grancy. At the same time, Délices was opened as a new station between Jordils and the former location of Montriond.

Hirslanden Clinique Bois-Cerf is a Swiss hospital located in Lausanne, Vaud, Switzerland. Founded in 1685, it has been part of the Hirslanden Private Hospital Group since 1998. During the 2015/16 fiscal year, 3,849 hospitalised patients were treated by 347 doctors.

The Cantonal Botanical Museum and Gardens (French: Musée et jardins botaniques cantonaux, MJBC) in the Canton of Vaud, Switzerland, comprises the museum and botanical garden in Lausanne, as well as the botanical garden, La Thomasia, in the Alps near the town of Bex. Administered under the Service of cultural affairs of Vaud, the museum and gardens engage in the study and protection of local flora, as well as in promoting public awareness in biodiversity and nature education in general. The museum, as well as the two botanical gardens are listed as cultural assets of national importance.

Christ Church Lausanne is an Anglican Episcopal church in Lausanne, Switzerland. Services are held in English every Sunday at 10.30 a.m., as well as on special days such as Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, during Holy Week and on Easter Sunday. A Sunday Club for children is held during regular Sunday Services during the school term. Study sessions take place during Advent and Lent. A number of more specific events are also organised throughout the year, such as the garden teas on Saturday afternoons during the summer. The Olympic Museum (French: Musée olympique) in Lausanne, Switzerland houses permanent and temporary exhibits relating to sport and the Olympic movement. With more than 10,000 artifacts, the museum is the largest archive of Olympic Games in the world and one of Lausanne's prime tourist site draws attracting more than 250,000 visitors each year.The Olympic Museum and the Olympic Park (sculpture garden between the museum and Lake Léman) are located at Ouchy, south of Lausanne. The headquarters of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) are located at Vidy, to the west of Ouchy.

The Parc de Milan is a public park of the city of Lausanne, Switzerland. The Parc de Milan and the Cantonal Botanical Museum and Gardens form a vast park located between Lausanne railway station and Lake Léman.
