Grancy station

Christ Church Lausanne is an Anglican Episcopal church in Lausanne, Switzerland. Services are held in English every Sunday at 10.30 a.m., as well as on special days such as Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, during Holy Week and on Easter Sunday. A Sunday Club for children is held during regular Sunday Services during the school term. Study sessions take place during Advent and Lent. A number of more specific events are also organised throughout the year, such as the garden teas on Saturday afternoons during the summer. The Church is set in a beautiful garden, planned and laid out by a well-known botanist, a former Church Warden of Christ Church and Honorary Curator of the Conservatory and Botanical Garden of the City of Geneva, renowned for classifying tropical African flowering plants. The Church garden is organised following a taxonomic approach, mainly featuring plants of the family Rosaceae. In addition to its roses, the garden contains a number of other interesting and beautiful plants, shrubs and trees.

Lausanne railway station (French: Gare de Lausanne) Is the main intercity and regional railway station for the city of Lausanne, Vaud, Switzerland. It is often known as Lausanne CFF to distinguish it from others in the town.

Lausanne-Gare is a Lausanne Métro station on M2 line. It was opened on 27 October 2008 as part of the inaugural section of the line, from Croisettes to Ouchy–Olympique. The station is located between Lausanne-Flon and Grancy. The station is located in Lausanne railway station, hence the name. In 1877, a funicular between Lausanne and Ouchy was opened. In 1879, a funicular from Lausanne railway station uphill to Lausanne-Flon was opened as well. It functioned until 1959, when funicular was rebuilt as a rack railway. In 2003, the whole section between Lausanne-Flon and Ouchy was demolished to give way for construction of M2 line.

Délices is a Lausanne Métro station on M2 line. It was opened on 27 October 2008 as part of the inaugural section of the line, from Croisettes to Ouchy–Olympique. The station is located between Grancy and Jordils.In 1877, a funicular between Lausanne and Ouchy was opened. In 1898, Montriond station was added to it, and in 1959 the funicular was rebuilt as a rack railway. In 2003, the railway was demolished to give way for construction of M2 line. Montriond station was demolished as well and move closer to Lausanne railway station; in 2008 it was reopened as Grancy. At the same time, Délices was opened as a new station between Jordils and the former location of Montriond.

The Lucy Mackintosh gallery was a commercial contemporary art space located in Lausanne, Switzerland between 2004 and 2013. It exhibited Swiss and international contemporary art and artists. The gallery also regularly invited designers to present their work.

The Lausanne Palace is a historic luxury hotel in Lausanne, Switzerland. It is located in the city centre, near the Esplanade of Montbenon and has a view on Le Flon on one side and on the Lake Léman on the other. It is owned by the Sandoz Family Foundation.

The Lausanne Underground Film and Music Festival (LUFF) is a film festival and music festival devoted to underground film and music. It is held each year in Lausanne, Switzerland. The festival is organized by a non-profit organization (APCI – Association pour la Promotion de la Culture Indépendante). The organization's goals are to promote independent artistic projects and creations and to make those projects accessible to a large public. The primary goal of the Lausanne Underground Film & Music Festival is to present films and music that largely exist outside the mainstream and profit driven production and distribution circuits. The cinematic section presents mainly films with an experimental character and/or films that challenge the spectator's viewing habits. Films are screened during the day and evening, followed by live music events featuring underground artists at night. Money prizes are awarded by the festival for the films selected in the international competition, in order to support the filmmakers in creating their art. The musical program of the festival proposes sonar experimentations of all kind. During the four concert nights of the festival week, an average of twenty international and Swiss musicians and groups play in the Salle des Fêtes of the Casino de Montbenon, the neuralgic center of the festival. In 2012 the festival has considerably enlarged its "off" program (a wide artistic offer free of charge, evolving in parallel to the official program) which continues to grow ever since and participates largely to the festive and open character of the event.During the five days of the festival, its activities also expand to local venues such as the rock club Le Romandie, the independent movie theater Le Zinéma, the cultural venue La Datcha, the auditorium of the local music school EJMA as well as the book store and art gallery La Librairie Humus, the art gallery Standard Deluxe, the associative photo&cine laboratory "on fait du l'art !", the independent movie theater Bellevaux and use to work with the café-théâtre le Bourg and the center for contemporary art Arsenic.The annual budget of the festival is of total value about 300.000 Swiss francs (270,000 euros).

The Cantonal Botanical Museum and Gardens (French: Musée et jardins botaniques cantonaux, MJBC) in the Canton of Vaud, Switzerland, comprises the museum and botanical garden in Lausanne, as well as the botanical garden, La Thomasia, in the Alps near the town of Bex. Administered under the Service of cultural affairs of Vaud, the museum and gardens engage in the study and protection of local flora, as well as in promoting public awareness in biodiversity and nature education in general. The museum, as well as the two botanical gardens are listed as cultural assets of national importance.

The bank specialises in asset management for private customers and institutional investors, and is the oldest such institution in the French-speaking part of Switzerland.
