Säben Abbey (German: Kloster Säben; Ladin: Jevun; Italian: Monastero di Sabiona) was a Benedictine nunnery located near Klausen in South Tyrol, northern Italy. It was established in 1687, when it was first settled by the nuns of Nonnberg Abbey in Salzburg. The last nuns left the abbey in 2021.

Seis am Schlern (German pronunciation: [saɪ̯s ʔam ˈʃlɛrn]; Italian: Siusi allo Sciliar [ˈsjuːzi ˈallo ʃʃiˈljar]) is an Alpine village in South Tyrol, in the Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol region of northern Italy. It is a frazione of the comune of Kastelruth.

The Villnößer Bach (Italian: Rio Funes) is a stream located in South Tyrol, Italy. It rises from the Geislerspitze mountain range, flows through the Villnößtal, ending after about 20 kilometres (12 mi) to the left downstream of Feldthurns in the Eisack river. Main tributaries are the St. Zenobach (Rio San Zeno) and the Flitzer Bach (Rio Valluzza). The course of the river is entirely within the village of Villnöß, bordering the frazioni (municipal subdivisions) of St. Magdalena (Santa Maddalena) and St. Peter (San Pietro).

The EVB Eagles Südtirol, previously known as the EV Bozen Eagles during 2008 to 2017, are an ice hockey team in the European Women's Hockey League (EWHL) and the Italian Hockey League Women (IHLW; previously the Serie A). It comprises the lower part of the valley of the Eisack River, from Waidbruck to Bolzano. It is named after the Salten plateau and the mountain Schlern. The seat of the district is in Bolzano, itself not part of the district.

Feldthurns (German pronunciation: [fɛlˈtʊrns]; Italian: Velturno [velˈturno]) is a comune (municipality) and a village in South Tyrol in northern Italy about 25 kilometres (16 mi) northeast of Bolzano.

The Schlern (German pronunciation: [ʃlɛrn]; Italian: Sciliar [ʃiˈljar]; Ladin: Sciliër; 2,563 m) is a mountain of the Dolomites in South Tyrol, Italy. The peak at the north west end of the mountain (left, in the image at right) was first ascended in July 1880 by Johann Santner. It is named the Santner Spitze in his honour. The Schlern dominates the villages of Seis am Schlern and Völs am Schlern, and the summit can be reached following the circular route marked with the number 1 from both villages. At 1,700 metres (5,577 ft), there is the Schlernboden inn and on the summit plateau is the Schlernhaus inn 2,457 metres (8,061 ft), both open from 1 June to 15 October. The highest summit is the Petz with 2,564 metres (8,412 ft). The Schlern is sung of in the Bozner Bergsteigerlied as one of South Tyrol's landmarks. Its characteristic profile appears on the Der Schlern - Zeitschrift für Südtiroler Landeskunde (Magazine for South Tyrolean Regional Studies) and the logo pressed into Loacker's wafer biscuits.

The Schlern-Rosengarten Nature Park (Italian: Parco Naturale Sciliar-Catinaccio; German: Naturpark Schlern-Rosengarten) is a nature reserve in South Tyrol, Italy.
