Bilsborrow is a village and former civil parish, now in the parish of Myerscough and Bilsborrow, in the Wyre district, in the county of Lancashire, England. The village population at the 2011 census was 632. It is on the A6 road and the Lancaster Canal. It is approximately 1 mile (2 km) east of Myerscough. Bilsborrow has a primary school, a post office and local shop, and a fish and chip shop, St Hilda's Church of England church and two public houses, the Roebuck and the White Bull, a canalside tavern Owd Nell's Tavern, a Premier Inn hotel, a canalside lodge, a guest house, and a themed thatched hamlet 'village' with restaurant, hotel and tavern. In 2018, John Cross Church of England Primary School celebrated the 300th anniversary of its founding by John Cross, a local Christian benefactor. In the former parish is the hamlet of Duncombe. In the 1950s there was a large paper mill at Matshead. The River Brock is crossed by Walmesley Bridge; it is dated 1883 but looks much older.

Myerscough and Bilsborrow () is a civil parish in the Borough of Wyre in Lancashire, England. It was formed on 1 April 2003 as a merger of the former parishes of Bilsborrow and Myerscough, and lies on the eastern border of the Fylde plain. The largest settlement is the village of Bilsborrow. The hamlet of Brock is immediately to the north of Bilsborrow, and the hamlet of Myerscough lies about a mile (2 km) to the west of Bilsborrow. The River Brock flows east-to-west along the northern border of the former Bilsborrow parish and through the former Myerscough parish. The Lancaster Canal, West Coast Main Line, A6 road and M6 motorway all pass north-to-south through the parish. There are canal moorings at Bilsborrow, and a marina at the Barton Grange Garden Centre to the north. When the Lancaster and Preston Junction Railway opened in 1840, it built Roebuck railway station next to the village, but in 1849 it was replaced by Brock railway station, half-a-mile (1 km) to the north, which survived until 1939.The Lancashire School of Agriculture moved onto the site of Myerscough Hall in 1969 and later was renamed Myerscough College in 1993.

Claughton ( KLY-tən) is a sparse village and civil parish in the county of Lancashire in the north of England, in the Borough of Wyre. The population of the civil parish at the 2011 census was 633. It is sometimes called Claughton-on-Brock to distinguish it from another Claughton in Lancashire in the Lune valley between Lancaster and Hornby. The village has both a Roman Catholic church (St Thomas Apostle) and a Roman Catholic primary school (St Mary's), but no Church of England presence, which is unusual for a parish in England. The nearest Church of England church is in the neighbouring parish, Barnacre-with-Bonds.

Catterall is a village and civil parish in the borough of Wyre, Lancashire, England. Historically in the Amounderness Hundred, it is situated on the A6 between Lancaster and Preston, a short distance from the town of Garstang, and Myerscough College. The rivers Wyre, Calder and Brock run through the parish and in places form the parish boundary.

Garstang and Catterall railway station served as the interchange between the Garstang and Knot-End Railway and the London and North Western Railway, in Lancashire, England. The station was in the parish of Barnacre-with-Bonds, close to the village of Catterall, adjacent to the Lancaster Canal, and opposite the Kenlis Arms Pub. This station was on the Lancaster and Preston Junction Railway (now part of the West Coast Main Line) between Preston and Lancaster. It opened on 26 June 1840, originally named Garstang Station. It was the last of the stations between Preston and Lancaster to close, on 3 February 1969.The station had a platform for each direction of the main line, and a third platform for the single-track branch line to Pilling and Knott End.

Barton is a linear village and civil parish in the City of Preston, Lancashire, England. The parish had a population of 1,150, of whom 552 were male and 598 were female, according to the 2011 census.

St Lawrence's Church is in Garstang Road, Barton, Preston, Lancashire, England. It is an active Anglican parish church in the diocese of Blackburn. The church was built in 1895–96, and was designed by R. Knill Freeman. It is constructed in sandstone, and consists of a nave, aisles, a chancel and a southwest steeple. The church holds services on Sundays and Wednesdays. It is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II listed building.

In 2001 it has a population of 1111. Since 1267 the Duchy of Lancaster has had land holdings in Myerscough.
