Magna ( MAG-nə) is a metro township in Salt Lake County, Utah, United States. The current population of the township stands at 29,251 according to the 2020 census, a 10.4% increase over 26,505 in 2010.

The Pleasant Green Cemetery is located in the Oquirrh Mountains above Magna, Utah. Approximately 1,400 persons are buried in the cemetery. Many religious leaders and settlers of the western side of the Salt Lake Valley, particularly many leaders of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) lie in the cemetery. It encompasses a little more than 10 acres (0.040 km2). The Pleasant Green Cemetery was established because Daniel Jacob's grandmother died in 1883 and the only large cemetery at the time in the valley was the Salt Lake City Cemetery. Daniel and his friends got together and founded the Pleasant Green Cemetery and Sarah Haines was the first person buried in the cemetery.

Cyprus High School is a public high school located at 8623 West 3000 South in Magna, Utah, United States. Cyprus High opened in 1918, and now has an enrollment of 1650 students. The principal of the school as of 2021 is Rob McDaniel. The school's mascot is the Cyprus Pirate. In 2016, Cyprus added Brockbank Jr. High on the next street to the east as part of their extended campus. Cyprus High belongs to the Granite School District. Cyprus High School dates back to April 1918. The auditorium was added in 1973 and the science building in 1978. Due to the age of the main building, it was completely rebuilt in 1983. The school has 63 classrooms and six relocatable classrooms.

Brockbank Junior High School was one of the two junior high schools in Magna, Utah, United States.

Magna Community Baptist Church (also known as Magna Community Church) is a historic church at 2916 S. 8900 West in Magna, Utah. It was built during 1928-33 and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.It was then deemed "significant as the first and only Protestant church building constructed in the town of Magna and for its important role in the religious affairs in the community."The building has had its cupola removed and is now used as a multi-family dwelling.

KTBN (formerly known as KUSW) was the shortwave radio outlet of the Trinity Broadcasting Network, a large religious international broadcaster. The station's programming was a simulcast of the audio portion of the TBN television service.

The Empress Theatre is a theater on historic Main Street in the U.S. town of Magna, Utah that has stood for more than 100 years. Built in 1916 by the Western Theatre Corporation, the venue originally opened to provide entertainment to the mine workers of the town.

The USANA Amphitheatre is an outdoor amphitheater, located in West Valley City, Utah. The Amphitheater is named after USANA Health Sciences, a manufacturer of nutritional supplements. It offers a view of the Wasatch Mountains. The venue opened July 2003.Phish performed and recorded their show, on July 15, 2003, which was later released as a live album, entitled Live Phish 07.15.03. The amphitheater has also played host to music festivals, including the X96 Big Ass Show, Curiosa, Crüe Fest, Crüe Fest 2 and the Uproar Festival.

Hunter High School is a public high school located at 4200 South 5600 West, West Valley City, Utah, United States. It was opened in 1990 with its first graduating class graduating in 1991. During the first school year (1990–1991), the enrollment was below capacity, largely because seniors and juniors (classes of '91 and '92, respectively) were allowed to choose whether to come to Hunter or complete their high school education at their current schools. The school celebrated its 25th anniversary at the end of the 2014–2015 school year. The school was heavily featured in the TV movie Wish Upon A Star, starring Katherine Heigl and Danielle Harris. The main gym was also used for the filming of an LA Gear shoe commercial featuring Utah Jazz player Karl Malone.Hunter High's mascot is the Wolverine and the school's colors are navy, silver, and white. The mascot and school colors were selected by a student vote prior to the school opening, from among a number of alternatives (including the Knights and the Hunters) previously chosen by an ad hoc committee of prospective students. Michigan's uniform colors were among some of the various color-combination suggestions (which also included hunter green and white) considered by the ad hoc committee, but most members of the committee voted against the colors because of neighboring Cyprus High School's colors of blue and gold. The school colors of navy, silver, and white were eventually selected. The school's fight song is the same as the University of Michigan's. The current lyrics to the school song were written in 1990 by Brian Sorensen, who submitted the lyrics as part of a school-wide contest. As of 2015 the school expanded, incorporating ninth grade students for the first time. As part of this, portable classrooms were added to the student parking lot, which lessened the parking space available.
