All Saints Catholic School was a Catholic secondary school located on Layhams Road, West Wickham, London Borough of Bromley. Formerly known as 'St. John Rigby Catholic College', its name was changed in 2004 as a rebranding because of falling pupil numbers and substantial debts following the departure of former headmistress Colleen McCabe. The site was originally a teacher training college before opening as a school in 1979. It was an amalgamation of the former St Joseph's School for Boys, Orpington, itself a former Victorian orphanage, now a housing estate opposite Orpington Hospital and a girls' school. Mr. Tranter was the first Deputy Headmaster. The site is now being developed for housing .

Wickham Court is a semi-fortified country house in West Wickham, Bromley, a borough of south-east London and historically and traditionally part of the county of Kent. The house dates from the time of Edward IV and is a Grade I listed building.The house is a square brick-built structure of 3 storeys which once enclosed a small open courtyard, since roofed over. There are octagonal 5-storey turrets at each corner and both the house and turrets have castellated parapets. The east front has 4 windows, the other fronts 3 windows. A porch with a crow-stepped gable was added to the west side during the reign of Charles I. A modern attic storey with dormer windows and a modern wing on the South front have also been added.

The River Beck is one of the tributaries of the River Ravensbourne in south London. The source of the River Beck is in Spring Park (grid reference TQ377647) where Shirley and West Wickham meet. For its first mile or so it forms the border between the London boroughs of Croydon and Bromley. Indeed, historically, this was also the border between Surrey and Kent. It gives its name to Beck Lane, Elmers End and Beck Way, Beckenham. The Beck flows into Cator Park, where it is joined by the Chaffinch Brook. The river after this juncture is called the Pool River, until it joins the River Ravensbourne which in turn joins the River Thames.The name probably derives from the town of Beckenham - Beohha's homestead (Old English). An alternative derivation may be the Middle English beck (stream), which would be an example of a tautological name. However this usage is not common in southern England.

West Wickham is a suburban area of south-east London, England, in the London Borough of Bromley. It lies south of Park Langley and Eden Park, west of Hayes and Coney Hall, north of Spring Park and east of Shirley, 10.3 miles (16.6 km) south-east of Charing Cross on the line of a Roman road, the London to Lewes Way. Before the creation of Greater London in 1965, West Wickham was in Kent.

Fieldway was a ward in the London Borough of Croydon, covering part of the New Addington estate in London in the United Kingdom. The ward formed part of the Croydon Central constituency. The population of the ward at the 2011 Census was 11,479.The ward returned two councillors every four years to Croydon Council. At the 2006 London local elections Simon Hall and Carole Bonner were elected to the council. They stood as Labour candidates, winning with a small margin over the British National Party.

Built in 1882 by Walter Maximilian de Zoete, the manor house is known for its distinctive Flemish style architecture, its connection to influential individuals, and its notable use during World War I as an auxiliary hospital. .
